We were there twice both for dinner in our over a week long stay in Dublin. Steak was excellent both times, and so were the few starters we've had. Prices were reasonable, given the quality of the food. The warm service from staff made us feel welcome. One of our favourite places in the city.

We tried sirloin steak (sirloin with bone and sirloin steak). We also tried their selection of breads with home-made sauces which turned out to be a great choice. Malbec wine was a good wine match for steak. The whole dining experience was a pure pleasure and the staff contributed to this a great deal. They are very knowledgeable but unassuming. I felt as if I had been dining at a friend's place. Truly great hosts and relaxed atmosphere.
Don't eat steaks that often but I'll visit this place again!

Stopped by here after our visit to the Guinness storehouse. It’s located right opposite the Christ church and a few minutes walk to the temple bar. The oysters were brilliant. Ordered a medium rare steak but it was quite rare compared to other places so bare in mind when choosing between “medium” and “medium rare”. Enjoyed our experience here and would definitely recommend.

We stopped here for dinner on a recommendation from a friend who visited a few years ago. We didn't have a reservation for dinner but it was only about 6pm so we figured we could get a table since it was early. Our first impression was that the restaurant was a little pretentious. The host greeted us and asked if we had a reservation. After telling him, but if he didn't have a table we were fine to leave. He said he would check to see if there was anything available and would be right back. When he came back, he said he could seat us but would need to be finished by 8pm and asked if that would be okay. 8pm would mean we would be eating for at least 2 hrs and not sure how 2 people could take longer than 2 hours to eat dinner is beside me, but anyways we decided to take the table. Our server Tiago was very pleasant and attentive and was the complete opposite of our first impression. I ordered the Beef and Oxtail Pie with a side ceasar salad and my husband ordered the 10oz filet. The Beef and Oxtail Pie was definitely worth the price - 16.50 Euros and 2 people could've eaten it as a meal. Our total bill came to 62.50 Euros and we were finished with our meal in an hour. Based on our friends recommendation and how great the steaks were, we were a little disappointed but the food is good and the price was okay.

We stumbled across this restaurant on our walk back to the hotel from a distillery tour. We were able to walk in make reservations for an hour later, which gave us enough time to get cleaned up a bit before dinner. The menu featured Irish, grass-fed beef, which is a little different than what we get back in Texas, but my wife and I both thought it was quite good. The waiter brought out several cuts of meat on a platter and explained what each was and what part of the animal it came from. While we waited for our steaks to cook, we enjoyed oysters on the half shell and a glass of good Irish whiskey. Highly recommend.
