House was great location, very close to town, walking distance and all amenities. Lovely house and great garden.
Along with my husband, two daughters and two son in laws we went to Dublin to celebrate one of our daughters tenth wedding anniversary. The house was brilliant. Lovely welcome from John with tasty cakes for us to enjoy. Garden was lovely in the morning for us to enjoy our breakfast and in the evening very pretty, all lit up to enjoy a drink before bed. Location of the house great, within walking distance of shops, pubs, and everything else you could need. Enjoyed the Jameson distillery very much and took the dart train from Conolly station to Howth which was a lovely place and it was good to get out of the city for a while. Would certainly book the house again if we were to come back to Dublin.
Quaint and charming townhouse close to city center. Nice neighborhood and easy walk to all public transportation, shopping and night life. Loved the private garden off the kitchen. A very relaxing atmosphere and well furnished townhouse. Would stay here anytime we're in Dublin.
We loved our stay in this wonderful home in Dublin. It had 3 separate bedrooms, all a good size. The kitchen was a good size and included instant coffee, milk and some condiments. John even had some fresh muffins/pastries upon our arrival which were greatly appreciated. There's a beautiful garden to relax after a busy day. John was there to greet us and show us around and had lots of tourist information, as well as a typed sheet of what is close by, where to go for certain things and important telephone numbers. It was very useful. The location is really good as you can walk to most places in Dublin. We only used the DART to go out of the city to Howth one day. The home has loads of character. We really enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend this home.
This townhouse was built in 1864, has 3 bedrooms, living area, small kitchen and a single bathroom. It has old wood floors and high ceilings. The backyard is secluded and is a great place to drink wine and enjoy conversing. Overall a very nice place and John is super friendly and helpful. It is within a 1/2 mile of the Hop On Hop Off bus terminal or do like we did and just walk into the down town area ~1 mile. They are currently working a tram line that is less than a block from the townhouse. Don't know when that will be done but it looks close to completion. As a added attraction there is a pub, T.O. Brennans, just down the street and we where welcomed with good conversation and beer.
Perfect Location in Dublin, centrally located, three bedrooms perfect for our family. John was fantastic. Easy access to all the Dublin sites and situated perfectly for a quick day trips to the countryside. Wi-Fi worked great. Overall a great location and host.
