Sean and Ann were warm and welcoming, and quite accommodating. We arrived early and they were happy to let us leave our stuff so we could go into town. The room had a large window and was clean. Breakfast was good, and the wifi was fast.

I don't usually write reviews on this but I feel the need to let people know how great this B&B really is.
The host Ann and Sean are very friendly and helpful. There local knowledge is excellent.
I stayed with my husband and we attended a concert that night. We took the Dart to the O2 which only took us 20 minutes.

It's okay but I wouldn't stay again

Pros: WiFi is very fast
it's quiet at night for sleeping
location
not too hot or too cold
family are very nice
room was clean.

Cons: Breakfast. Poor selection of fruit, and I think what was there was gone off.
No tea making facilities so I ended up having to go out and pay for tea in places like supervalu.
I felt like I was staying with a family more than a B&B, which felt kind of weird.
Room was dated.

Room Tip: Get the room with the big window facing the front of the house, it's by far the best.

Had to stop in Dun Laoghaire for work and picked Santa Cruz because it was close to Dublin City and close to a beach and the sea ( as I like to swim in the sea whenever I can ) there is also a fantastic port to visit and two piers to walk with lots of restaurants and coffee shops also if you wish to visit Wicklow or the south coast you are already well on the way. The room I had was bright clean and comfortable but above all Ann & Michael ( the owners ) were really nice and full of good advice about the area

Recently stayed 2 nights on holiday. Friendly welcoming couple, with a cup of tea and biscuits on arrival. Breakfast was good, strawberries were a nice touch, however there was a grubby lid on the sugar bowl and the tablecloth was a bit stained. Oh dear, the bedroom! On opening the door, it banged into the dressing the table. The back leg of the dressing table was buckled. The dressing table mirror wouldn't stay in a position except the "down" one, which rendered it useless, even when seated on the edge of the bed. There was a long mirror on the wall however. Wall lights above the bed were loose (dangerous!). One of the armchairs needed the joints banging back into place. Toilet roll holder falling off the wall. Light over mirror in the bathroom not working. Wash basin not fixed securely to the wall. The shower made a horrendous noise, however it was efficient. Top shelf in the wardrobe was covered with dust, as was the top of the (low) wardrobe. No net curtains or blinds at the window, which faced a busy road, so couldn't walk about undressed in the room without having the curtains drawn. We paid the same money to stay at a Best Western hotel in Galway which was far superior, the following week. Also not much more for the Best Western hotel at Drumcondra. 5 euros less for a night in a really nice hotel, which had an enormous bedroom, (and bathroom!) at Cobh .

Room Tip: Maybe one of the other rooms was better.

This is literally a Bed and Breakfast and anyone expecting frills and trimmings will be disappointed. That said the owners were exceptionally pleasent and overall there is a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The room was clean, there was hot water and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was standard and we were offered more if required. In general all the basics are there but not a lot more. This is fine by me as all I want is a good nights sleep and a hot shower in the morning.

Room Tip: Probably better as a 1 or 2 night stop - any longer and it may become a bit cramped
