I have visited this tiny chapel a number of times over the years. It was open during the summer of heritage last year, so I visited it again. We had a very interesting guide who told us all about it. If you get a group together Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown Co. Co. will open it for you.
Every space is painted by the nun in Celtic designs like something out of the book of Kells, walls and ceiling. It was her life's work. The work is magic!
The building is protected by a larger one built over it, just like Stalin's family house in Gori, Georgia (but not in marble!)
Not that many people seem to know about it, and it is well worth a visit.
