“the place to stay in Galway”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

This B & B has it all, great location, good sized rooms and top notched service. You will not find this B & B on a site like hotels.com, you have to email or call to reserve. The property is located on a quiet street 1 minute walk from restaurants and bars and a 5 minute walk from the downtown core. The owner makes this this place, we stayed 2 nights & were leaving early on day 2. He offered us breakfast at 6:30, & then drove us to the train station, we were good to walk, but he insisted. The previous day, he found out that the 4 of us eating breakfast were headed out all day, he came back with a sandwich for each of us for lunch that day. He went over and above, we wished we stayed longer. This is the best B & B we stayed in during our 3 week holiday.

We arrived in non-peak season and the owners were great with recommendations of where to eat *Monroes* and to see local music. Room was a bit cramped, but comfortable beds and Wi-Fi/cable TV (if you have time for it, which we did not). Breakfast was amazing and very homey feel.

We have passed 2 nights in this b&b near galway center (5 minutes walking) and ALL was perfect. Brid is a true person, very nice, funny and welcoming. The house is very cosy, ideal for cocooning, the room was full optionned with satellite tv and warm bed. Brid always have good advices for restaurants, she offered us wonderful salmon sandwiches !
Maybe the best place to stay in Galway, thanks a lot for everything !

Very nice and welcoming host. Ulrich is kind and helpful, he made us feel at home. The b&b is in a calm area just 5 minutes walk from the city centre. The rooms are nice and comfortable but we heard the persons in the room near us talking and watching Tv.
The breakfast is really good as well as the sandwiches he made us for our lunch. It was a really nice stay.

We spent three nights at the Linderhof in June, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ullrich and Brid were fantastic hosts, providing maps and plenty of suggestions of places to go and things to do, as well as the smoked salmon sandwiches which everyone mentions. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was made to order, and more than adequate. But as helpful and friendly as the hosts are, an even better reason for staying here is the location of this B&B. Within ten minutes walk, we could reach any number of pubs and bistros, the pedestrian mall, Eyre Square, or the Claddagh. The walk to the Salthill beach area is a little longer- perhaps 30 minutes- but beautiful if the weather is good. In all, an excellent B&B from which to visit Galway and area.

Every thing is perfect in this house, the boss Ulrich, the funny cute little dog Ruby, the breakfast, the room and the bed, the location close the center town, and finally, the smoked salmon sandwiches for the journey. I sincerely recommend this B&B to everybody looking for a nice, and sweet place in Galway to visit Connemara.
