It had been over 20 years since I stayed in a hostel, and I was apprehensive about staying in one, but the 2-day tour I'd booked included it as the overnight accommodation, I am happy to say that hostels (at least this chain) have changed quite a lot over the years. Snoozles was very clean, well-run, included a free (!) breakfast, en-suite rooms, comfy beds and linens, and lovely 24/7 front desk service. You can hire a towel for cheap, and borrow many other things you might need (e.g., ironing board). There is a TV/lounge area as well. The only drawback in my opinion was that the room I was put in (6 people in 3 bunkbeds) was co-ed and I found that awkward. I had even thought they advertised same-sex rooms, but maybe only if you ask for it. Also the bathroom floor can get very wet and messy as there isn't much of a drain slope and no bath mat is provided. Other than that, the place was great.
