This was our second stay at Inishmore with Marie and Peter, and we loved it even more this time than the first. This is a true Irish B&B: on arrival, Marie will greet you at the door and, after getting you settled, will join you in the sitting room for hot tea and biscuits and a visit. She is a wealth of information about Galway and will send you to those little local spots you might not otherwise ever know about.
The guesthouse is cosy and quaint and just exactly what we imagined when we came to Ireland the first time. Marie and Peter are both so friendly and warm...like us, you will be sad to leave them.

We have been travelling regularly to Galway since 1995 and have lost count of how many times we have stayed at Inishmore Guesthouse. A trip to Galway with accommodation somewhere else would be unimaginable. Marie and Peter, along with their delightful staff, provide a true home away from home. Individual needs and wishes are happily seen to. No one is more knowledgeable about Galway, Connemara and the Burren than they are and they delight in sharing their knowledge. The house itself is delightfully eccentric and full of charming character.

I apologize for the delay in writing this review as I visited Inishmore in August 2011. I had a wonderful 3 night stay and couldn't have been more pleased with the service or the location. I was greeted with a cup of tea and a snack after a long drive from Dublin airport. I stayed in a non-ensuite room, but I had a large bathroom all to myself and never had any problems. The room, and bathroom, were kept spotlessly clean and were really comfortable. Each morning's breakfast was made to order and was a great start to a day's sightseeing in Galway. The location is really perfect - a brief walk into Galway or Salthill and the promenade. If you have a car, the B&B is very close to main roads for trips to Connemara and the Burren. I had a lovely stay and look forward to returning to Galway and Inishmore very soon.

I was made to feel very welcome from the time I arrived until the time I left. I stayed two nights while on a recent 10 day trip to Ireland. The owners, their daughter, and staff were most hospitable the entire stay. The entire place was clean, quite, and comfortable. The breakfast offered each morning was wonderful and there were many options to choose from. The owners were more than helpful at recommending activities. The wifi work well throughout. It was a nice walk into town and a supermarket was very close. I would gladly stay again.
