Had a delicious house burger sitting outside on a busy Galway Sunday afternoon washed down with a pint of Boston beer. Best burger I have tasted and I have tried burgers in few places around the world.

This place is a little gem...in a way we don't want to write a good review as we love getting a seat in the place. In the summer this place is packed at the front, but now, under new management, it does not have that blaring speaker music in every corner, and the staff are much nicer. There is 'elevated' pub grub with salad options. A couple of things make this pub a very special place though...
The staff - down to earth but excellent service
Brew - more craft beers than you would get almost anywhere in Galway. Hard Cider and Gluten free options too.
The location - center of Galway but off the beaten track, yet prime outdoor sun spot
The programming - great live music, as well as quirky things like the 'Moth and Butterfly' storytelling night, Fringe Festival Venue, and Americana Session every Sunday.
This place deserves to be in more guide books. It's here to stay.

Great spot to chill out for a lazy day drinking. The food was tasty and very affordable, considering the times we are in. The staff are friendly and chatty and are up for a laugh. Would recommend to anyone who wants either a relaxin day. Oh yeah, they have live music on some nights also. Couldn't stay for that tho.

I can only fathom how this place has a business is only because of it's location. We did not eat here because we left as the staff were so rude. We had asked to speak to the manager and were asked why? We repeated that we wished to discuss it with the manager but were told she was too budy. We indicated we had a complaint to make however once we indicated it was in relation to the service we received from a member of staff we were told that we were being rude complaining about their colleagues?? So we left. We have never experienced such behaviour from staff in a public establishment. I have since been advised by a number of friends that they were not surprised and had similar experiences in the last year and that any of the good staff seem to have left
