Booked 2 nights in this hotel,Feb 17/2012..feb 19th.
Guy on reception VERY friendly and helpful upon our check in..(he was American or Australian)
Room very spacious, cleanliness i would rate 8/10..tv screen covered in dust and other furniture a little dusty too..Bathroom immaculate!!Room VERY warm..Street noise woke us both nights as we were at front of hotel..
Breakfast really nice, service was very good and waitresses very friendly.
HUGE and only downside to this hotel in my opinion was the bar staff..
Friday night a young inexperienced young male didnt know how to make an irish coffee!!i had to give him instructions!!
Saturday night a slightly older male that made 2 irish coffees although we waited 20 minutes for them..they were a DISGRACE!! the cream brought the drink to the HALF WAY point of the glasses!! the rest of 2 glasses were empty!!
We refused to accept the irish coffees and ordered 2 pints of heineken, both pints tasted like dishwater!!
Overall, this hotel was ok but if you need or want a drink you should go elsewhere.
The bar and staff really let the hotel down.More
