Perfect location, walking distance to the town centre and Salthill promenade yet hidden away so not too noisy at night. Breakfast menu is comprehensive and there's tea/coffee/hot chocolate available all day. This is the 3rd time I've stayed here and never disappointed.

A great b&b. Very clean, breakfast was great. Nothing any trouble to the owner, couldn't ask for anymore. She had wonderful knowledge of everything around Galway & made us feel really welcome. Location is great. A quick walk over the bridge to the Quay Street & Eyre Square. Perfect!!!! Rooms were exceptional. A perfect spot to stay.

We stayed here for two nights. This was one of our favorite stays on our trip to the UK and Ireland. Our room and bathroom were spacious. City Center is a 10-15 min scenic walk away. (The walk passes an excellent bakery!) There's a laundrette nearby. Parking is right in front and the place is adjacent to a park. The breakfast was wonderful-many choices-THE BEST of our trip IMO. Coffee, tea, and snacks available in the living area 24 hrs/day.The owners are gracious and very helpful. The garden is lovely. We had not booked in advance but truly lucked out!

Room Tip: Ask for a garden view.

Enjoyed our stay here. Grainne was helpful in arranging tours and taxis. Breakfast was exceptional. The location was within walking distance from city center and most tour buses would come to the guest house or near by to collect us.

Room Tip: Some rooms are on the ground floor, others are upstairs, there is no lift.

We enjoyed our stay at the Adare. Very easy to walk everywhere, adjacent to a little playground and park. Pretty enclosed garden. Comfortable clean rooms. Breakfast was made to order, ample, healthy and delicious!

The only mar was the massive writing on the outside of the building. Perhaps there is some other more subtle way to announce its location.

Room Tip: rooms facing the road are a bit noisy until traffic dies down at night.

The location is great - short walk to Quay Street and easy to get on road to Rossaveal harbour if you are going to Aran Islands. Rooms were clean but could use some updating. Breakfasts were good (however I only had the pancakes and coffee) but selection and options were limited in comparison to the other 5 B & B/guesthouses we stayed at. Original price quoted to us was a little high for the standard of the rooms so be sure to price compare or ask for discount before committing.

Our two night stay was great. We had a big room with bath and shower. It might be a bit dated by some standards but it was clean quiet and comfortable. The short walk to the centre of Galway makes it the perfect location. There is parking at the front door. Wifi was a bit temperamental but ok in the public areas where complimentary tea and coffee and available all day. Thanks Grainne.
