Stayed for 2 nights in August- hotel was in a great location but wouldnt return. On 1st day entering room there was a strong smell in the room of drainage pipes. We alerted management who came up to check. We were offered a change of room & reduced rate & given complimentary drinks. If you are going to use it as a base to stay its perfect- no romantic weekends here!

Stayed here for one night, thankgodness. The bathroom was old, crumbling, and not clean. Towels were stinky so we used the hair dryer to dry off instead. The room had outdated and the furniture was beat up. The bed covers were skippy and red bed skirt and cover were nasty and stained. Kept shoes or socks on so we didn't have to walk on the carpet. What they call a tv I call a small computer monitor. Jail like view out the window and didn't feel safe in the elevator. Also the parking was not validated and the lot was 2 blocks away, to far to drag bags. Overall we were afraid to go to sleep. The only thing that worked was the wifi. Please don't stay here, you will thank me.

This hotel needs a refurbishment. The foyer looks faded and in need of attention. The rooms are clean and the staff are really helpful. However the bar was good and the location was excellent.
The free wifi only worked in the lobby.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room.

The location for Galway could not be bettered. Everything else about the hotel was just a bit below average. Room was not that clean, breakfast was ordinary, service was nothing special, but I had a great time in Galway so I give it an extra star.

Room Tip: Stay here only if you want to be in the centre of Galway.

Asked for a non smoking room and got a room at the end if a corridor of smoking rooms, no a/c basic bathroom, got to listen to the music across the street till the wee hours and the sheets and bed well the only reason we stayed was I could not face sleeping in our car
This is not worth the price even if it was free, unless you are a smoker then you will love it

The hotel was very central. The room was basic but had all you needed in it. Very clean and towels changed everyday. Breakfast was very good and staff were all lovely and friendly. No problem staying here again. For a central hotel in Galway the price was grand.

Did you ever walk into a hotel and want to walk right back out again?? Christ , this place is just a hostel that just happens to like charging hotel rates. Do yourselves a favour and only stay here if every hostel, homeless shelter and bus shelter is full. It's scandalous that the owners of this place have the nerve to charge someone 140 Euro for one night to stay over in this tip. Greed has no boundaries. Avoid.
