Cappa Veagh is a charming b&b in Salthill. The guest house itself was very clean and our room, though on the 3rd floor, was large and very comfortable. We could see the lights of Galway and the bay from the large skylight in the bedroom or the one in the bathroom. It's not everyday one can take a shower overlooking Galway Bay. We were there for two nights and each morning breakfast was delicious. There were several offerings for breakfast and everything we tried was delicious. We recommend this b&b to anyone staying in the area.

This B&B is spotless and lovely, and Catherine makes it all seem so effortless; she was so helpful with so many things and her breakfast was absolutely delicious! The room and bathroom is small, but it's a B&B! It doesn't matter to me if it's small- I do care about food and cleanliness which were impeccable. I'd recommend this B&B in a heart beat!

Every thing was lovely here very clean and tidy but the room was a little small for the two of us with two suit cases. Someone up stairs was banging and crashing for about an hour, perhaps a new arrival while we were tring to sleep. Breakfast portion was a bit tight IE: baked beans on toast = one piece of toast with baked beans, I would have expected two minimum.
Catherine was a lovely host and made our stay very comfortable and made us very welcome.

Room Tip: Room 1 was very small for two people.

This place was... awesome. We loved it from the moment we arrived, where Pat greeted us by name at the door and treated us to Irish tea and cake. Pat and Catherine were extremely helpful and friendly, answering all of our many questions and even going the extra mile to organize a great stay for us. We felt very much at home, as if we were with family, and appreciated it so much. The coast is just minutes away and Galway is also walkable distance or easy to access by bus/taxi. I highly recommend that you stay here if you come to Galway/Salthill.

Room Tip: Top floor rooms have a pretty small bathroom, might be more spacious in other rooms, though the view...

We stayed at this great B&B for only 1 night - unfortunately. It is only a short walk to the Salthill area, where there is plenty of restaurants and pubs and a beautiful promenade along the beach. Catherine and Pat are great hosts, very helpful and only too happy to point out the best spots of Galway. Their home is immaculate and the spacious rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast is great and you have to try Catherine's porridge - yummy!

If we ever go back to Galway, we would definitely stay at this terrific B&B.

The gracious hosts, Catherine and Pat manage a beautiful facility. We were traveling with our 3 adult children and they went out of their way to accommodate and assist us . And while you're there, you must try Catherine's porridge made with a bit of Irish Mist..

Prior to arriving at Cappa Veagh B&B we had emailed asking if it would be possible to get an appointment with a physiotherapist as one of our party was having major back problems. Upon arrival we were made most welcome with an enjoyable afternoon tea. We were then advised that an appointment with a physio had been made for the next morning for which we were most grateful. After a great breakfast Pat very kindly piloted us to the physio whose treatment proved most helpful. A second appointment was available the next morning which was willingly accepted.

We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Cappa Veagh B&B to anyone looking for accommodation in Galway which is clean, comfortable, very welcoming and homely and with great breakfasts.
