My daughter and I stayed in Flannery's hotel for two nights and we had a great time. Fantastic Breakfast and is ideally located to go into the city. Aisling at reception couldn't do enough for us.
The hotel has a very homely feel to it.

We will stay here again

My husband and I booked for three nights - on the second day we were accosted by the anti smoking manager who accused us of smoking in our own room ( we had requested a smoking room when booking!!!) and we were fined for smoking in our room - this was duly paid but when queried on the booking we'd made for a smoking room the managers barely existent customer service skills completely disappeared and my husband was threatened in front of other hotel staff - we have stayed in many hotels over the years but we have never had such basil fawltyescue behavior over such a ridiculous reason. We were totally shocked at this unprofessional attitude from an alleged professional in the hospitality trade especially as it continued in a overly watchful manner by his relief manager this has sadly has spoilt a long awaited holiday to the west of Ireland and we will stick to a higher class of hotel where customers are treated with the respect they deserve - one member of staff can thoroughly destroy both his employers reputation and a well paying customers well earned break in a single heart beat while pursuing a personal vendetta against anyone who has the temerity to actually smoke !!!

Hotel with friendly staff, lovely rooms and excellent food. Reception staff were very welcoming. Taxis were readily available into town and cheap too. All staff were knowledgeable about the area and the places to go. Breakfast was all you can eat buffet very good quality of food and lots to select from. Rooms were a nice size and very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Group of Friends stayed here for the August bank holiday, we were going to the races on Saturday and planned on arriving in Galway at 10am, despite being told when I rang that we probably wouldn't have any room until at least 12pm all three rooms were available at 10am. Staff were lovely, extremely friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast was lovely and really set us up for the day with a wide variety.

Breakfast okay. Shower over bath and not very big. Double bed and single bed in room A real tourist hotel. Bar was good and food was excellent. A bit far out of centre and needed to get a cab which wasn't a problem. Staff and reception were excellent

Used this hotel for visiting Galway Race Festival. Quite expensive for what you get but this may have been due to inflated rates for the Festival! Staff were superb, reception, bar and restaurant.
Friendly and helpful.
Downside is the bedrooms. Bed was uncomfortable, bath towels minute (you couldn't get them round you!) and shower not at all user friendly.

Food was excellent, especially good value for money and well prepared in the bar area. Atmosphere in the whole hotel was good. Live music helped atmosphere.
