We stayed here during race week and could not have had a better experience. We stayed in room 1 at the front of the house. This is elegantly decorated and has a very comfortable bed. There is a lot of attention to details, especially in the dining room.
Breakfast was delicious, I highly recommend the French toast. There are plenty of options, to choose from. We found it incredibly good value.
This is a family run business; my husband and I found Tony, Ida and Sinead very friendly and helpful. Sinead helped with my dress disaster, pinning me together and even drove us into town when the heavens decided to open. They are a really lovely family.
We loved our stay and are looking forward to returning next year.

Room Tip: Room 1 was very elegant

Beautifully presented, well appointed and great location. The house is a pleasure to stay in and walking distance to several good pubs and restaurants as well as the Salthill beach front and Galway city centre is easily accessible. The breakfast sitting was very welcoming and the food well presented & very good.

My friend and I were delighted by this bed and breakfast. Excellent location in the quieter but still interesting seaside suburb of Salthill, still within easy walking/bus distance of Galway city. The house is beautiful, the room was a good size with a fireplace and comfortable bed, and the bathroom - just down the hall - was luxurious (iron footed bath and all). The breakfast was the best I have had in any bed and breakfast and the staff were helpful and courteous. The literature in the room state that all guests are staying in the owner's family home and you feel that sense of comfort throughout. I highly recommend St Jude's to anyone traveling to the Galway area.

Nice to hear you felt at home and enjoyed the house and the breakfast. Our location affords guests the opportunity to enjoy both the seaside and the city on their visit to Galway, so we are very fortunate to be enjoying a great summer this year where both are at their best. Ita & Tony.

Unfortunately I stayed only one night, but I felt very comfortable. The owners are simply the best. I got all information I needed. It is a beautiful house in very good condition. The rooms have all comfort you need, very tastefully decorated and comfortable. The breakfast is just amazing.
It is near to the city centre, but in a stilly neighbourhood.
So... it was lovely! :-) I will definitely come again.

Very close to Galway town (30 minutes on foot from coach station - taking our time) or few minutes away from Salthill village, this B+B is a gem! The house and room are beautifully and carefully decorated, spotless and comfortable. We were lucky enough to have a view to the garden that at this time of the year is full of roses. Breakfast includes a buffet of yoghurts, cereals, juice, and fruits + the hot menu. All very nice as well. Ita, one of the owners, was extremely helpful for directions and restaurants in the area (plus there was a folder in the bedroom with a detailed list of what's on Galway and Salthill). We will definitely be back :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this BandB. We had a spacious room overlooking the front gardens. The bedroom and ensuite are very clean, modern and tastefully decorated. The staff are extremely friendly and the breakfast menu provides a variety of choices. The premises are within walking distance to the Salthill promenade and only 15 minutes to the city centre. The owner of the BandB was very helpful and engaging.

This was our 1st B&B on our travels through southern Ireland. The hardwood floors throughout were beautiful. We walked in and the 1st thing we smelled was homemade soup our host was cooking in the kitchen. We knew we had made a great choice. The sitting area and the breakfast area were lovely and my 1st Irish brekfast was fantastic. The location was excellent with a short walk into town and close to the water. We ate at the La Collina Italian Restaurant. The food was excellente and the service was superior.
