We went here with a party of 5 without reservation on a Wednesday night. Excellent service and atmosphere at a very posh location.
Having lived in Japan for a year I can assure you that the food was indeed authentic and more importantly very fresh! I can highly recommend the Sea Scallops and the various sushi platters!

Perfect place for a special occasion if you enjoy raw seafood.

This place is a serious addition to Galway's culinary scene. There are (two) other Japanese cafes in Galway, but they cater more to the daytime market and only offer basic maki rolls (by way of sushi). The food here is a little pricey, but the variety and presentation is really stunning. The wine is really pricey, so go for a beer. I've had sushi abroad and until now, had thought that Cape Town led the charge (outside of Japan). This place is better or superior to the very best sushi restaurant in Cape Town. It's a pity (for non-sushi lovers) that they don't do the odd cooked dish...as a result, it can be hard to get a group to go here, given a general Irish dislike of raw fish, but I guess it's eager to remain authentic! Overall, the location is nice, the room really comfortable and the service is excellent and un-stuffy - the staff are prepared to help and educate - but don't tend towards interference or arrogance, in the least. Well worth a visit!

This food is amazing, so fresh, so delicious, I really hope it continues to thrive as there is no place like it in the west of Ireland.
I just love the California rolls and the sashimi is melt in the mouth.
See you very soon Raw!

Sushi was absolutely excellent. Food was beautifully presented with everything very fresh. Had the chirashi sushi which gave a great variety of fish with sticky rice. Waitress was excellent
Restaurant is situated in the Radisson Blu on the 4th floor. The floor to ceiling window gives a fantastic view

A group of us went to RAW. Our waitress was so sweet, very friendly and funny throughout the evening. The chef looked after us all night and the sushi we ordered had the freshest possible seafood in it. The wine recommended to us was well priced and refreshing with the dishes. Also beautiful seating right by the window helped make it a wonderful evening - we'll most certainly be back.
