Visited the restaurant of the evening of our stay 28th august. Found food to be of a very poor to average standard . Ordered burger ,pizza and a chicken dish. Burger was tasteless ,pizza was burnt and chicken was edible but very small and accompanied by exactly 4sweet potato wedges so not much good if you were very hungry.the food was ordered and arrived almost too promptly after 15minutes so not much fresh cooking I fear. On the plus side the waitress was very pleasant and dealt with our concerns re the food and gave us some complimentary desserts.
Breakfast was a bit chaotic it seemed there were too many guests and not enough staff .had to ask twice for some tea. Quality of food was basic the usual fried variety but plentiful. However there was no vegetarian option only eggs and beans.,no cheese cold meats yogurts etc in all a bit on the cheap and basic side. Stayed for 2 nights , hotel was very busy with all age groups and types eg stags, families, older clients . Room was very clean ,beds and bathroom adequate. However there were lots of small noisy children and we. Were awoken on both nights when they tramped noisily past our room. It's not the place to stay if you want a quiet peaceful break or a lie in.
On the positive side the staff were friendly and helpful ,the pool was great for kids and location good.It has a very seventies feel and would benefit from a makeover. Expected more for the cost of our stay.

We have been travelling around Galway and the surrounding areas after visiting Leenaun for a wedding and this hotel has ruined the end of a perfect 5 day trip. We stayed on sat 23rd aug on the third floor and were in for a total shock. Despite there being signs on the walls saying children must be supervised at all times, we were kept awake until 3am by a number of children who were staying with the same group, whose rooms were spread along the length of our corridor, running up and down, shouting, banging on each others doors and banging they bedroom doors without a supervising adult around. This behaviour continued for a hour after asking them politely to keep the noise down. Why have their rooms been spread out with other guests put in between them? Why is there no supervision for them on the same corridor? We are exhausted and have a long day ahead. We have stayed in a number of other hotels during this trip and have not had this.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel in Galway. The staff was awesome, the breakfast in the hotel dining room was fabulous. We also ate dinner in the hotel restaurant one night and were very pleased. Would love to stay here again.

Service,,,good,,food good,,entertainment good.....prices a tad on the high side for what it is,,a modern hotel....and please get the maintenance people to turn off the heating when its 23*C outside. The suite was welll equipped and airy with a balcony. had all the usual additions..wi fi,cable tv,tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. Its a nice place and very convenient for the city centre and sightseeing.Enjoyed our stay in it....
