Finding cheap and comfortable accommodations in Galway (especially during the Summer months) was a challenge as prices can be steep. Although this guest house was not massively cheap ( i.e. we paid 207 Euros for 3 nites) but the room was lovely, spacious and comfortable. We even had our own bathroom (NB: no hair drier). The rooms were also cleaned daily. On the overall we were very pleased and satisfied with our room.

Although the guest house is situated in the city centre, we were not disturbed by loud noises from the outside and further, the main city centre is within 5 minutes walk. Do note that in order to check in, you would have to go to the Mexican restaurant "La Salsa" to do so. The guest house does not have their own reception. Only down side to this place is the absence of breakfast considering the price we paid and although they did provide free Wifi, the connection from our room was very poor. Otherwise we had a splendid stay in Galway.

Stayed in a double room and although there was no view, the room was very cosy and nicely decorated. We had free Wifi and a flat screen TV and an ensuite bathroom. The duvet and pillows were made of duck feather and were so comfortable! I'm glad I knew about having to get the people from the mexican restaurant to let us check in - they should make that clear on their website. But its in a great location, nice and quite....overall a lovely stay!

A little hard to get checked in, as the girls who run this place also has a mexican place adjacent to the guesthouse. The rooms are clean, no sheets though, and the shower is not much to brag about, almost no pressure at all. The rooms are big and comfy though, looks good and also has a tv, and free wireless internet. We had a good stay at this budget hotel.

Pros: This guest house is in a great location, has spacious rooms and comfortable beds, and is reasonably priced.

Cons: The bed does not have a sheet, just a comforter, the towels shred as you use them and are rough, the bathroom is small, the shower head does not stay in one place so you have to battle with it moving while you are trying to shower, the water pressure is not great, and there is no hair dryer. Checking in was also tricky. You have to go the Mexican restaurant attached to the guest house and tell them that you are checking in... the girls appear to run both the guest house and the restaurant.

Overall the stay was pleasant. It is definitely in a good location, and for the price was a decent place to stay. We would recommend this place more for a bunch of guys than a couple or family.
