First of all I couldnt recommend Murder on the Menu anymore! Its an amazing idea if you are looking to plan something a little bit different for a party or a hens.

As sister of the bride/bridesmaid, it was my job to organise the bachelorette party! Before hitting Galway town, we did Murder on the Menu in the Harbour hotel. We arrived at the hotel and were brought into our own room in which we played the game and had our meal. The room was beautifully decorated and we each received our props and the fun began!

Bruce Henry, the organiser of it all, is amazing - and getting this package of the game and meal really took some stress of me, as he organised it all!

I must say I was pleasantly suprised as to how nice the food was too! We were extremely pleased with it. The staff of the hotel were also very friendly and happy to attend to any need we had.

Overall a great experience and definitely recommend it for a hens if youre looking to do something fun before hitting the town!! All the hens of our party agreed, that it was something different and a great start to the evening!

Excellent night out for a reasonable price (with dinner included). The cast played terrific send-ups of many recognisable 80's moviestar cliches, putting new, amusing spins on their characterisations.

Interaction with the cast in character begins on entry, with the psychic being a particularly entertaining character for conversation as we were seated and waited for the room to fill.

The show itself was between courses and thus did not interfere with dinner, as happens sometimes when you are pulled away by a murder mystery just as a course is served. Well paced with the actors not missing a beat, the show entertained and allowed for a good bit of conversation as to whodunnit, even though we were at a table of strangers and the age gap was substantial.

The food was more than adequate, especially when considered as part of a package. One shortcoming is that the bar in the room was not in use during the day so the draught beer was a bit off.

Overall, a very enjoyable night, with good food, a great atmosphere and a wonderful cast and show.

Saw this show last night (7th Dec,) at the Pillo Hotel in Galway. We really had a great night.
While we enjoyed a very nice buffet dinner a cast of 6 acted out a very funny murder mystery.
It was a really good show with plenty of audience participation. The food was also very good.
If you fancy something different for a night out this is a really good idea .

Attended the event on Halloween with a group to celebrate 2 friends' birthdays. Bruce (the organiser) was great in making it a special night. Given the structure of the evening the menu was understandably limited, but in fairness we weren't there for the food choice! That said, the food WAS lovely and there was plenty of it, and a special birthday dessert made it all the better! The format of the evening worked really well, with entertaining actors and plot, spaced out nicely to last the night and allow for the meal, and there was nicely arranged audience participation. We will be going again, and would recommend to anyone looking for something different when heading out in Galway

The food provided by the hotel was included in the price and was quite good. The show/sketch was clever and witty and it was fun to be a part of the entertainment with the ooh's and aah's.
There was a bit of chit chat with people around the table and some revolved around the clues of who did it.
The only down side is if you didn't book at same time as your friends you'd end up at a different table.
