We stayed here at the end of June. We had planned a romantic getaway and in theory it was. We stayed for two nights.
We stayed in a yurt which was lovely and cosy. We got one down near the wall which was nice and a picnic seat beside our yurt which was nice for eating or having a drink or two.
The kitchen is open from 8 to 10 and full range of cooking equipment. Untensils. Electric points to charge etc.
The bathrooms were the negative side... hygiene standards were clearly lacking. Basins were clearly not washed that weekend as grime and dirt visible. Toilet bowls also were in need of domestos and a good scrub as did showers. Very disappointed with this.
As well as kitchen there is a number of garden structure and little houses like mini kitchens and a bbq area however the night we were there there was a 30th and a hen so all these were taken over so not great for a couple. Luckily weather was nice and we could sit out. It was also quite despite the crowd so noise levels are ok here.
You are near the Railway station closed now that was used in The Quiet Man... Castletown was called in film. There is a nice ring walk to do takes about an hour but out in fresh air.
You are near Tuam and not too far from Galway or Knock shrine. Lots of historical ruins and sites near by also.

I came here in June for my sisters hen party!! It was fantastic. The accommodation was beautiful and it was comfortable!! I slept in a concerted barn and it was great fun. Others slept in the yurts and they were very happy aswell! The owners were so friendly as well! A beautiful place & fantastic set up! Can't wait to go back!

Myself, my wife and 3 year old daughter stayed here for a midweek break last summer. it was our first time Glamping and we had a great time. The owners could not have been more helpful and they are doing a great job restoring this historical residence.

The covered in area with barbacue was a great bonus and we invited friends over for the evening. All they kids had a ball exploring and meeting the kittens.

I would highly recommend it with a good choice of facilities and activities and very good value but most of all a friendly spot to spend some holiday time. The yurts were amazing - the real thing and definately luxury camping.

I stayed here with 2 of my friends last summer and we had the best of Craig. The owners are so friendly and to see the effort, determination and sheer hard work that they have put into Galway Glamping is evident.
You can bring your own food and drink, cook on the bbq's, use of fridge etc. They provide kayak'ing on the calm river that runs through the land.
We stayed in a yurt and the detail that has gone into these yurts is just amazing. You will immediately feel so cosy and secure inside. You can bring your own music aswell and there are electrical sockets!
It really is so relaxing and enjoyable to stay here. I cannot recommend it enough.
I will be going back very soon.

We got sent here as a surprise in September and didn't know what to expect and it was great. We stayed in a yurt. The local couple who run the site stay on-site and just couldn't have been more helpful. There is a lovely 'common room' where you can cook and relax if theres no events on. There were some hen parties there and it seems like such a great venue for something like that.
We visited Athenry one day, the train station from the Quiet Man is around the corner and Clonmacnoise on the way home.
I would add that the emphsasis is still on the camping element of it and camping equipment would have been really useful, but that was our fault!

Room Tip: Cabins and Yurts to the side are away from the traffic but further from the loo's so a bit of a...
