We stayed here for one night while exploring Ireland and were very please. Great price, has bar(s) and restaurant attached, friendly staff. Room wa quite large, hotel very centrally located (on Eyre Square). They are very upfront that they cannot guarantee quiet throughout the night due to proximity to city centre and pubs, but we didn't really experience anything out of the ordinary for a city property, and even had our window open all night. They do have AC if you are looking for that in the summertime. Pub was great, they have 6 seperate bar area and extensive drink selection. Not at all stingy on food, our chicken Caesar had more chicken then lettuce! Quite good. Bartender was great, I hate sweet drinks an shots, he suggested a shot I had never tried and love it! New favorite! Also went out of his way to make a dirty martini as they didn't have olive juice at the bar. Really impressed with service! They do lock the doors at night, but we're great about instructing us to ring doorbell. We ended up staying at the hotel pub so did not need to untilize. Breakfast served in lovely room, and nice selection. Only word of caution... We had a very difficult time locating it. Thankfully when I called the girl told us it was "behind the barriers on the pedestrian side" and we finally figured out what that meant. Our gps could only place us two doors down and we couldn't see down the pedestrian sidewalk. I finally found it because I looked at the pic of the hotel on their website. We parked in the Fairgreen parking garage (the hotel gives 50% off price of €20 for 24 hours here and i believe at Hynes - see their website) and then walked our luggage although she said we could have pulled up to barriers and dropped. Not being used to driving on the left side of the road, and with the parking do's/dont's we were a little unsure and just played it safe with the garage. If you park at Fairgreens, park on 4th floor and you walk out at street level and hotel is 2 blocks. Take ticket, hotel will validate. Great experience, would return and definitely recommend!
