Stayed here with my mother for 3 nights in June.
Delightful, charming hotel in the heart of the city, just off Eyre Square.
Staff were warm and friendly. Owner was present in dining room every morning, keeping a close eye on everything and welcoming quests.
Food was excellent with good value "early bird" dinner each evening. Decent wine list.
Rooms were well appointed with updated bathrooms and free internet.
Will return..............

We stayed here in May for 2 nights as part of a 2 week driving tour of Ireland. Our double room was comfortable, average size, and quiet. The hotel had some tour group activity, though we did not feel that impacted our experience negatively. We had 2 breakfasts and 1 dinner in the dining room, the breakfasts were more than adequate and dinner was quite passable though not memorable.

The locaton is excellent just off Eyre Sq and about a 5 minute walk from te center. We had free parking in the hotel. The lobby lounge areas have a nice look of days gone by and some interesting historic photos of Galway. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful in booking dinner and finding a good pub. We would not hesitate to return.

The rooms are lovely and spacious with beautiful decor. The reception service was quick and professional. The bar service was unfortunately not as pleasant or friendly and let down the overall experience. I would stay here again but just avoid the bar & restaurant area.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights before moving on to join up with a golf tour. We couldn't have chosen a better place. The room was huge, with an extremely comfortable king bed, sitting area, electric tea kettle, large flat screen tv, and the bathroom was enormous and well appointed.! As Ireland was cool and "misty" the always-hot towel rack in the bathroom was especially nice. Our package included full breakfast each day, and one dinner in the lovely dining room. Because we were leaving early our last day, before breakfast was scheduled to start, the manager had a package of brown bread for us to take in the car, but the dining room manager wouldn't hear of our missing breakfast so opened early and boxed up a breakfast for us. The hotel is centrally located near Eyre Square and the pedestrian shopping/pubs/restaurant part of Galway and a stroll to the water. You could also easily walk the mile to the University. Parking entrance was hard to find but they talked us to it when I called. Parking cramped but again, the bellman helped us maneuver in and out. The staff was very friendly and very good with recommendations for pubs and restaurants. We have been to Galway before, but this is where we will stay when we return.

My husband & myself stayed at Park House in May, the rooms are comfortable, there are two restaurants & both are very good. Breakfast was great, staff very friendly & obliging. You can walk all over Galway which is great as it is a very congested city to drive in. There are two pubs in particular right across the city which should not be missed An Pucan & Rabbitts, great Irish music. We got a better rate by calling the hotel directly. Try to get free parking, otherwise it's very expensive.
