After a long driving day, it was a pleasure to arrive here. The staff are friendly and for a downtown location it could not be better. Nice big deluxe room, staff are excellent, food and service is very good. Right were you want to be in Galway, just off Eyre Square and walking distance to all shopping and restaurants.

A few extra creature comforts before heading to the Burren for a few days. A nice place close to all the sights and walking distance to most attractions. Exceptionally helpful staff. Breakfast was exceptional.

Room Tip: Nothing that I am aware of.

Went here for lunch with a colleague, we both had the soup of the day ( cream of vegetable) which was incredibly salty. The brown bread served with the soup was lovely and fresh though. My colleague had the warm dressed chicken with garlic bread. The chicken was borderline dry and the garlic bread was tasteless. With there being no dressing the dish was left uneaten as it was just too dry. My own cajun chicken ciabatta arrived on a warm ciabatta roll but the chicken itself was served cold. A minor detail but it's the small things that count! Service was slow and abrupt and nothing was mentioned of the full plate of food left aQs our plates were cleared. I have heard great things on the food here and was just disappointed with the lack of flavour in any of the courses.

Stayed here for 4 nights start of May with my other half, after a little online research we decided on this hotel and we were delighted with it's central location. The hotel itself is quaint and dare I say it a little dated in its decor (not your modern contempory style/hip n trendy) more mahogany and carpets but spotlessly clean.
This of course does not take away from the staff that work here, which are all exceptional within their roles. The receptionist team are very professional and helpful, the bar staff are full of great craic and evoke a memorable atmosphere, the restaurant staff offer top class service and the maids ensure your room is always clean & topped up with towels etc...
The food in the hotel is impeccable and is worthy of it's place of one of the top 5 restaurants in Galway City. Defo gotta recommend the seafood chowder - Yummie. We were booked bed & breakfast, the breakfast choices are fantastic and it's hard not to over indulge on all the choices of fruits, cereals & homemade breads/crossiants/rolls etc.. also get a choice of cooked breakfast ie full fry, poached/scrambled/fried eggs, kippers etc.. Will totally set you up for the day!
Big bonus of this hotel. Tourist information centre is a few doors up on the left hand side. Also outside the tourist information office are the open top doubledecker bus tours. We paid 10 euros each for a 1 hour tour which was well worth the money and fortunately we had a sunny day to make it more enjoyable :)

We stayed at the Park House for two nights on a trip around Ireland. Overall it was good stay. It's in a great location, the service is great - loved how the porter came out to look after the car and sort out parking for us when there were no spaces in the car park. The rooms are ok, perfectly clean and comfortable if a bit dated. The food was a highlight. We had a lovely breakfast and ate in the bar one evening, which was really good. Good food, nice atmosphere and good service.

Free upgrade on arrival, fantastic rooms, good lively bar, didn't eat in restaurant but the breakfast was pretty good. Checkout very efficient and good value for money. Strongly recommend this hotel in all ways.
