It's a place that never fails. Decor, staff, food and John the manager. The consistency of food and service is second to none. We'll done to all there, the fact that you see the place full all the time is testament to the success of the place even the bar food.

We're so glad we splurged on this hotel. It's really, really nice. You can't beat the location (just off Eyre Square), and it's top notch from top to bottom. We were offered tea and biscuits upon arrival because our rooms weren't quite ready yet. Our parking was included in the price we paid, and there was also free wi-fi. It is an elegant hotel, and the service is first class. Our rooms were very nice, although a little on the small side. In the evenings you can sit just off the lobby in somewhat private seating areas and have glasses of wine brought to your table by waiters who are serving the lobby guests. Everyone was very professional and courteous. The only thing I found puzzling is that there were no washcloths in the bathrooms, and limited toiletries. Even most B&B's are offering wash cloths these days, so I'm not sure why the Park House Hotel is still old-school about it. Breakfast had plenty of variety and options. Pastries and breads, yogurt, juice, etc. were served buffet-style, and a standard Irish breakfast is brought to your table by wait staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Park House Hotel.

This hotel is centrally located on Eyre Square and is beside the bus and train station. Car parking is available. Upon entering, the place oozes olde worlde glamour. All furnishings and fittings are top quality and everything is immaculately clean. Bedrooms vary in size and we were fortunate to have a large room(324). Again, all furniture and fittings were first class and it was immaculately clean. The bed was huge - must have been a super kingsize. Firm mattress which suited me. The room had plenty of storage, tv,dvd player, trouser press, kettle, writing desk, hairdrier, safe, mini bar etc - everything you would need. Ensuite bathroom was large and clean and the toiletries were good quality. The staff were, without exception, extremely polite, professional and helpful. We dined in the restaurant and the food was superb. It was the best meal we have had in a long time - absolutely top notch. Drinks in the bar were of a similar price to other pubs in the area. There was a good choice of food at breakfast and orders were taken at the table which is nicer than having to queue for a buffet. The food was hot and fresh. We absolutely loved this hotel and would definately recommend. Would we return? Yes please!!

Room Tip: 320 - 324 are a good size

We stayed three nights in this hotel and it was fabulous. Rooms were spacious (if a bit clustered with extra furniture we didn't need). The breakfast was fabulous and the location couldn't have been better. Right in the thick of things. Galway is an amazing city and if you're visiting, this hotel is ideal!

The Park House Hotel is in a great location. From the very start, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the building. It was clearly an older building, with plenty of charm and beautiful decor. Our room was incredibly comfortable, with a big cozy bed and a large modern bathroom. There was an enormous tub that I wish I had taken the time to enjoy as well. Breakfast was included and was very tasty. We were able to choose from a large buffet of options, and choose a hot item from the breakfast menu. Our only complaint was that we had difficulty sleeping because of a noise from a neighboring room. It was a low-grade beeping, as though something's battery was dying. If not for this sound, we would be giving the Park House Hotel five stars.

This hotel is ideally situated in central Galway, just off Eyre Square and adjacent to the coach station with regular direct services to Dublin Airport. Our main take-away from this hotel was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff from reception on arrival to departing from the car park. This appears to be a well motivated team!
The hotel lobby are, restaurant and rooms are comfortably furnished and decorated in a welcoming and non-corporate style, as opposed to some of the nearby hotels that we checked out during our visit.
The breakfast choice and quality was really good with food cooked to order which is a welcome change and unusual for a big hotel nowadays. I can particularly recommend the orange juice and the kippers.
Our rate which included breakfast and parking was great value for money. The car park is relatively small but if the car park is full the attendant takes your car to the next door multi-storey park and brings it back when you need it (at no extra cost).
We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: We asked in advance for a quiet room and were given a room (318) on the top floor facing inwards tow...

The Park House is in a great location especially if you are arriving by train or bus. The stations are about a block away. You can walk to most of the major attractions in Galway. The hotel has an older charm about it. Room furnishings are basic but perfectly fine. The staff were very friendly and helped us book several tours since we were without a car. I appreciated the breakfast and in-room free wi-fi that was included in our rate. A very good value!
