“Beautiful Galway”
Reviewed 24 June 2014 via mobile

Was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of Galway (we really had no idea what to expect). This hotel has an "old world elegance" feel to it. Very professional staff. Well kept, our room clearly had been recently renovated, luxurious feeling bathroom. 12 euro charge for parking per night, with valet service available. Well located, quick walk to many restaurants and pubs. Would recommend.

i had a very pleasant stay at park house hotel in galway. the staff was very helpful and nice. you are centrally located and within walking distance to much of the city. bus station and train station is right down the street, so you can scoot yourself out in no time to go to your next destination in no time! if you are a night owl, please be patient in trying to get back into the hotel. there is a doorbell to buzz in when the front desk is closed, so you need someone on staff to let you in. since they are running about during the late evening hours, you may have to wait. only a mild annoyance when you want to sleep or have your late night eats in your room. otherwise, i had a really nice stay here. it was clean, and well presented. they're even nice enough to leave you little biscuits or cookies so you can have it with your tea or coffee. looking forward to staying again in the future.

Just spent a night in this hotel with a group of my friends. The location was fantastic .. really central and close to lovely restaurants and fun bars ! The hotel itself is a little dated, probable suited more for older people. Breakfast was only ok but the staff were really nice and helpful throughout our stay!

We spent a few nights at the Park House on our recent trip to Ireland. The hotel is well situated - minutes away from the beautiful Eyre Square, shopping and bar district. Valet parking ensures no issues searching for a parking spot. The hotel room itself was very large (even compared to North American standards), comfortable and clean. Continental breakfast was plentiful and satisfying. Try the traditional Irish porridge! The staff were very friendly and efficient. Overall the Parkhouse provides all of the "quaintness" of a typical European hotel, with all of the standards of a large luxury chain ....

A Very Nice hotel, with a Great breakfast, however a constant and insistent smell of ginger in the hotel entrance and lobby. Awkward and a bit uncomfortable. Despite this, the staff were all extremely friendly.

Spent a few nights here on our trip of Ireland and could not have asked for a nicer hotel. Well located and the price was decent, the hotel offers all you can imagine.
Continental breakfast served daily from 0700-1000 is ok, does not offer a lot of fresh fruits or meat options, but is good enough to get a day going.

Located about a 2 minute walk to the Eyre Square, and a few more minutes to the shopping and bars, i would stay here again.

The rooms are well taken care of and comfy. Large washrooms, definitely above european standards

Good location, wifi works well. Breakfast is ordinary. No gym but you can walk to Radisson Blu hotel (about 100m) away, their Spa and Fitness is very well-equipped with a good nice pool! You only need to pay Euro 10 per visit. Can give Park House only restaurant a miss for dinner. Nothing to shout about but their staff are excellent! Very willing to accommodate. Room is big and clean. Air-condition works well too! (after bad experience at Merrion). I wish they have better food and a gym! Oh! They should change the TV to flat screen!

Room Tip: We had room 325 - junior suite. Quiet and large.
