Definitely worth the 4 star rating. All staff in every department couldn't be more courteous or helpful. On arrival, porter was at car immediately offering assistance - room wasn't ready (we were early) so received complimentary coffee and a welcome chat from the owner, who later gave us a free dram and glass of wine. Breakfast was exceptional and staff very attentive. Room was immaculate.

I have just returned from a very short stay at this hotel, unfortunately we had to leave early due to my friend needing to return home early. I deal with a lovely kind gentleman whose name is Padraig. He did not charge us for the time remaining we had booked and for. This reason alone I would return for another stay . For such a young man he showed such maturity yet always remaining professional. This young man in my opinion has very much a bright further ahead of him.

Room Tip: This hotel is a old feel hotel so if it is the modern feel you are looking for this is not for you...

We recently stayed here for three nights on our trip to Ireland. Location was perfect for us, walked with our bags from the train, literally steps away. The service we received was outstanding. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. We would like to especially mention Padrick who was at the front desk and gave us many tips for dinner and pubs. Rooms were exactly what we were hoping for and breakfast (and coffee) was outstanding! Thank you for providing such great service to us and for exceeding our expectations!

This is a really lovely hotel and a perfect choice for us. We stayed 2 nights in a deluxe room, which had a huge bathroom & shower, big comfy king size bed, sitting area, mini bar (these seemed to be rare on our trip round Ireland), flat screen tv, slippers & robes! Wonderful air conditioning (as we were having a heat wave, apparently) and a quiet retreat from busy Galway. Very close to pubs and shopping, as well as the tourist office to get info for Connemara National Park. Breakfast was good and coffee delicious. Staff was very friendly, and helpful with directions. Followed the directions from their website to find the valet car park, easy to do. I would love to stay here again.

We were so impressed with this hotel. From the moment we walked into this hotel they took care of our every need. The front desk staff are efficient & genuinely great people who take care of their guests. We were offered tea or coffee while checking in & they even had Luke run out & get our car out of a parking lot that was further away from the hotel's private parking lot, which is a bit tricky to find. Luke had our car back in no time at all & bags ready for us. The hotel itself is charming & really quite beautiful inside. Loved the old world charm. Breakfast was one of the best of our 9 day trip around Ireland. All in all a very memorable stay in Galway! Thanks again to the amazing staff!

We stayed at the Park House on our last night in Ireland. We picked it based on location to the main "attractions" and we weren't disappointed. It is pricey but we were happy with our choice. We walked to all the main shopping/eating areas and as it's right next to Eyre Square it is busy at all hours and we didn't feel concerned walking back late. The car park is very small and you must get the valet to assist you as you can't leave your car anywhere. The car entrance is located around the side of the hotel. We had room #124 which was a very large room with a nice king bed and large bathroom. It overlooked the car park so unfortunately we had to keep the blinds closed.

Overall we experienced very friendly service during our stay and with the location we would stay here again!

Tip: This hotel is also in very close proximity to the Spirit One Spa which is amazing and should be visited even if just for the thermal suite!

Right in the centre of everything, easy to walk to main shops etc. Parking hard to find when you first arrive by car. Slightly tired feel to the lobby, rooms and restaurant. The staff were fine, helpful and the food was pretty good. As we were coming to the end of our 10 day tour of Ireland, we felt Galway was a bit of a let down compared to other places we had been, but maybe we were being overcritical and need to give it another try.
