Right near bus stop so can take bus from airport or from another city. Drop your bags off and you are in the center of town. Night life is awesome the hotel staff are nice and offered us tea upon arrival.

Lovely!!

Our family of five stayed in a spacious Junior Suite for one night in this excellent hotel in the beautiful town of Galway. We wish we have stayed longer. The staff were friendly, up-to-date amenities, easy Internet access, and parking without fuss (once you have located the entrance). Everything we needed was within easy walking distance. Don't forget to enjoy a big tub of Galway mussels at nearby restaurants (ones in Latino Quarter recommended). Overall, a great hotel in a town begging to be discovered!

Stayed here last year and was impressed by the very high level of service and standards of the hotel. This time I would say was even better. The staff are all so very friendly and can't do enough to make your stay as enjoyable as possible without being intrusive. I really like the way they anticipate what you need. We ate in the restaurant one night and in the bar the next. The food was excellent and good value. Breakfast was really good also. Free parking, with the attendants to park your car was a really nice touch. Free WiFi was good also. The room was a good size, good air on, good bathroom, comfortable bed. Some reviews criticised the decor but I personally found it very comfortable, maybe it depends on your age or people who just need something to complain about.

Was extremely shocked at the size of the rooms. I've been to Europe and most hotels are small. This room was like many American hotels. Staff was great and the hotel was centrally located. Great place for breakfast also. Very quiet.

So central - plus a car park. Excellent service, great room, comfortable, attentive staff, great breakfast (including grilled fresh fish - ie not mackerel or kippers). Can't fault it - you get what you pay for

Room Tip: We had a book at the back - overlooked car park - which may be quieter. But the rooms have air con s...

Unfortunately the only helpful, friendly staff we experienced was the parking staff. The staff at the front desk were neither friendly nor welcoming. Thankfully we only spent 1 night.
The room was clean and the breakfast adequate but we felt very rushed.
Good value for the cost.
We had an excellent, fun tour of Galway with the private bus company owned by JJ Walsh.
We enjoyed a very good fish dinner at McDonagh's, a casual spot situated on the main promenade. However, don't order at the counter, ask for a seat on the right side of the restaurant.

My wife and I have been staying at The Park house many times since 2007.
All the staff have been most friendly and helpful. They are all trained in the same most wonderful manner. We have come to know and recognise many of the staff from the excellent co-owner Kitty Carr through all the grades.Fresh cups for the second cup of tea at breakfast and parking and looking after your car. The Hotel is always being cleaned in a devoted manner. People really care. My wife and I are both disabled and are constantly helped whenever needed.

Room Tip: The management have always chosen us a very good room.
