Spent two nights here in June. Had a ground floor room which was a treat after two weeks of climbing stairs at other places. Ann could not be more welcoming. She definitely makes you feel as home offering suggestions for sights and restaurants. Breakfast is to order and delicious. An easy walk into town and quiet for a good night's rest.

I had the pleasure of staying at Griffin Lodge for four nights, the end of May. Ann made it a wonderful stay. She was very welcoming, truly made you feel like she cared about you and any questions you might have or help you might need. She is a hard worker and makes anything you want for breakfast. The Griffin Lodge is in a great location, close enough to the center of town, but on a quiet street, away from the noise. It is clean and the beds are comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Ann for being such a gracious hostess.

We stayed at Griffin Lodge less than a week ago and had a great time. Ann is amazing and very knowledgeable about bus tours from Galway (we had not rented a car), local attractions and places to eat and hear music. She made our stay so special! Griffin Lodge is comfortable, clean and close to the city center but far enough away so that you don't hear the traffic. Ann made us whatever we wanted for breakfast--there were many choices. We would definitely stay here again.

We hadn't booked anything for our evening in Galway but my Girlfriend had previously stayed at Griffin Lodge before and had a great experience. Unfortunately on this occasion the B&B wasn't open, although Ann pointed us in the direction of a great B&B in the area. Having met Ann for the first time I feel compelled to write a review purely on the basis that she is quite clearly a wonderful, friendly host. We will absolutely be looking at booking in for a future stay at Griffin Lodge! Thank you...

We stayed for a night in Galway and were glad to have stumbled upon a real gem of a B&B. Just a short walk from the centre but far enough from the crowds, nice rooms and a good breakfast. All for a decent price with a welcoming host thrown in for good measure.

Ann was priceless during our stay in Galway. Gave us great suggestions on where to eat and helped us with arrangements for our bus tour. A bit of a walk from downtown Galway, but well worth it. Some of the best full Irish breakfast anywhere. Would definitely stay again when in Galway.

Bath and bed room are clean. Bed ist ok for my bad back. Breakfast is delicilous and even special whishes are possible. Ann is a very lovely home mom. I really can recomment this B&B to evryone who loves rustic comfort.

Room Tip: streets all around the house are quiet.
