Stayed here in March, just before Easter for 1 night! Stayed here many times before and this trip lived up to expectations!!
The big tip for this hotel is to look for a room in the new wing! Also a room to side of hotel not the back however if you want to go the extra mile and upgrade to the sea view rooms it is well worth it!!
Our room on this occasion was on the top floor and view was amazing!
Staff all very friendly and bar very relaxing.

Stayed at the Salthill Hotel in Galway with family in Ferbruary. Overall it was excellent. The staff were very helpful even providing us with a deck of cards to play with when we were having a drink in reception and decided we would like to play. The leisure centre is also worth note. There is a pool for lane swimming and also one for paddlers. The hot tub is large and could surely tell a tale or two as it is an ideal place for lingering and gossiping! We ate in the dining room two nights and the food was very fresh and if anything the portions too generous. The location of the hotel is perfect.

I organised a conference for 150 delegates in mid April. The team met and exceeded our expectations on every level. From the first contact through to the close of the event I received expertise, courtesy, professionalism and value. The staff went beyond their normal duty to ensure that everything went to plan for us. When a problem did arise it was sorted out very quickly and effectively.
Even though the weekend was very busy with other events on I did not feel that we were one of many because we received such a high level of service.

The attitude of the staff created a lovely, welcoming atmosphere over the weekend and therefore I received lots of compliments from our delegates about the venue, catering and staff.
I would certainly use the Salthill Hotel again for both a leisure stay and for conferencing.

Recently went to a wedding in the Salthill and we had a fabulous time. The staff were fantastic, the general manager was exceptional and the atmosphere was relaxed and sophisticated. With a 20 month old child in tow, we had no difficulties and he loved the place too! Thank you, Salthill Hotel!

just returned from a trip to Galway to compete in a 10 k run and decided to stay in the salthill hotel. i did not expect to it to be as impressive. its located just on the promenade on the city side, so ideal for runs along the beach and prom and a walk into the city. the pool and gym facilities are top of the range, the pool is a large 25m competition standard pool and they can even raise the depth of the pool automatically, it has a larger than normal sauna steam room and jaquzzi which was just ideal after the run. And then after a dip in the pool, what can i saw about the over endulgence of the food, just define! the Prom bar was nicely busy and the service was quick, treated myself to gourmet wings, steak and desert all of which were amazing!
i couldnt recommend this anymore, no expense was spared in this place, and it will be visited again

We went down on a golf outing with about 15 in the group, when booking originally, I got talking to Danny(whom I think is the manager) and he was great with the deal he gave my group. We stayed in triple rooms and got an evening meal and breakfast in the deal. Danny had a table reserved for us in the bar for our meal and thankfully he did bcoz by 7pm the bar was packed.
The staff couldn't do enough for us, from table service for drinks to their own recommendations for food, which were lovely. The amazing thing here was, there was a huge wedding ans two other functions on in the hotel and it was a credit to the hotel staff that they could still afford to spoil us with such a busy hotel!!

We will definitely come back for another group booking here bcoz the best thing was the residents bar stayed open while everyone behaved!!

Great hotel
