We stayed overnight at this brilliant hotel. The rooms are fantastic. (Maybe a bar fridge would add a bit) We found the staff friendly and efficient, the Cappucino's excellent. Highly recommend the great breakfast.

Stayed here twice recently attending two separate weddings. We had a very pleasant stay on both occasions. The rooms were very comfortable, tastefully decorated, plenty of storage and very clean.
This is an excellent location for a wedding, the food was excellent on both occasions and staff very friendly and attentive. I could not fault the hotel and would not hesitate in recommending it in the future.

We traveled throughout Ireland for our honeymoon and our time in Galway at The Salthill Hotel was awesome! We stayed two nights and our room was spacious, comfortable, clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The fitness center was amazing - so many machines and the jacuzzi was a welcome treat! It was close for a lovely walk along the promenade and just a cab ride into town. We enjoyed our stay!

We booked 3 double rooms with sea view for 3 nights B&B. The hotel was very nice, clean and welcoming. Breakfast was good as was the bar snacks we had. The fitness facility was fantastic, we all swam, tried the sauna and jacuzzi, it was great fun. We walked the "Prom" which was beautiful and longer than we had anticipated. We dined out at The Black Cat in Salthill and it was the most gorgeous meal enjoyed by eight of us. The only down side was the Wi fi in the hotel was not working. The hotel also has gluten free meals available.

Room Tip: The rooms with the sea view are lovely. Especially opening your curtains in the morning with the vie...

Hotel is modern with bright clean rooms. Beds are extremely comfortable. Bathrooms are finished to good standard and are bigger than standard bathrooms in other hotels. Hair dryer is attached to wall in bathroom and is not suitable for someone with mid to long hair- I would advise you to bring your own. Water was slightly salty and did not work on one morning during our stay. Pool is excellent and I have been told facilities in changing room are also excellent. Food was nice, however it is a very busy hotel so prepare for a wait at breakfast for a seat, especially for groups larger than 2 people. Self service buffet, which did run out of items quickly, however they were replaced after a few minutes.
Hotel is located approx 5 min walk to bars, restaurants and shops. Bus stop at entrance to hotel, which has the 401 bus to Galway every 15 mins- 1.90 each way for adults.
Overall a very good hotel

I stayed here a few months ago with my partner. I cannot fault with hotel. The reception area is clean, modern and stylish. I was greeted a welcoming receptionist. The room was spacious, comfortable and it was good value. We dinned in the restaurant, the food wasn't to our taste. On the other hand, service was to a high standard. I didn't use the leisure centre. Breakfast was excellent. Good selection of hot and cold foods. The bar staff were very friendly and accomodating. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to a friend for a break away.
