Owner description: For a great night out with a difference why not try a night at Galway Greyhound Stadium and we guarantee you a night at the Dogs in Galway is always a night to remember. The atmosphere, the food, the flutter, the craic and of course the top class racing - they all combine to make you want to come back again and again. Enjoy the fine dining of the Masters Restaurant combined with the excitement of the race night! Catered by Kudos, our restaurant provides excellent track side seating where you can enjoy all of the night's racing with tote service to your table. If you're not in the mood for a full restaurant meal we provide excellent fast food and snacks in our bars. Try the Barker's Bar for more informal packages or Stripes bar offering panoramic views of the race circuit.

“The shortest races ever!”
Reviewed 29 April 2014

A group of us took a large table in a box, so we could eat and gamble together.

For a Saturday night it was fairly quiet. Food was OK but the main thing was the duration of some of the races. They were over in under 20 seconds!

“Great night out”
Reviewed 7 March 2014

Went here on a package that include a four course meal and entry to the greyhound racing. Had a very enjoyable night out, tote betting and drinks service to your table make it a very relaxing way to enjoy the races.Food was good and as a reult of an earlier rugby match there was a good atmosphere in the place.

“This place is the dogs!”
Reviewed 13 January 2014

Been here to eat many times over past ten years, and food consistently good quality. 3 courses and the dogs running outside for entertainment. Tote bets taken at your table, a fun time for all, even complete amateur punters! Table size restricted by the internal geography, but we simply booked three tables for our party of twenty.

“Great night at the dogs”
Reviewed 8 January 2014 via mobile

My boyfriend and I went to the dogs Friday and booked online the €34 package deal which included a 3 course meal. A table for the night, admission and a waiter who would come to the table and take our bets and drinks order. Felt like the queen, I didn't have to get up once.
Although I gave out with a loss from the betting of 12 races, I still enjoyed my night as you can't always win. The set up is gorgeous. The meal was of high standard and the staff were so helpful and friendly.
I really enjoyed myself and would recommend my friends to go here or that I should go again with them as it is a lovely night out.
