Owner description: For a great night out with a difference why not try a night at Galway Greyhound Stadium and we guarantee you a night at the Dogs in Galway is always a night to remember. The atmosphere, the food, the flutter, the craic and of course the top class racing - they all combine to make you want to come back again and again. Enjoy the fine dining of the Masters Restaurant combined with the excitement of the race night! Catered by Kudos, our restaurant provides excellent track side seating where you can enjoy all of the night's racing with tote service to your table. If you're not in the mood for a full restaurant meal we provide excellent fast food and snacks in our bars. Try the Barker's Bar for more informal packages or Stripes bar offering panoramic views of the race circuit.

Booked this online at www.igb.ie as a different night for family entertainment. Got a very good 3/3/3 deal for €29.99 each for a choice of 3 starters,3 main courses, 3 desserts and tea/coffee after, services of the Tote, bar waiter and full Race Card.
Arrived at 6.45pm to find we were the second party through the gates, warmly welcomed by a very affible informative gentleman who suggested that the younger members should go down to see the dogs after their races and meet the owners for "tips", maybe we should have done it coz we didn't make our fortune there!!!
The meal was very tasty with good choices for all ages and was served promptly. The screens showed races from Shelbourne Park between times of the races in Galway. The whole experience was very enjoyable but not profitable for us anyway!!!
The last race was around 10.20 pm and the place emptied very promptly afterwards, we nearly the last to leave and that was at 10.50pm - not the place for late night revelling!
