“Great Customer Service & Amazing Food!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 March 2014

What an awesome experience! Sadly we were only able to stay for one night, we would have loved to stay longer! The weather in October wasn't bad at all.We had traveled to Ireland for a wedding and spent a week there traveling the whole country. I cannot remember how I found this amazing B&B, but I am so happy I did. I was looking for somewhere special to stay with my fiancee and his parents, its was our anniversary and an early christmas present to his parents. Freddy and his team we so welcoming and so professional. The rooms were gorgeous, my fiance and I stayed in the the Master Suite with the bay view, and his parents in a garden view room. (the mater suite was so welcoming and relaxing!) All the pictures that are posted are just they way it looks when you arrive! Top quality everything. The food was delicious. Also, I had requested welcoming baskets, with local goodies and Freddy went above and beyond! Being someone who works in the resturant industry I was so pleased! Again we wish we stayed longer!! Thank you Freddy and your team! We hope to be back!! We also had dinner at an amazing resturant not to far from the B&B... Donnelly's of Barna, the food was delicous, dessert was amazing! We had a cozy table next to the fire place on an chilly October night.

My husband Ben and I traveled to Galway in October 2013, for our 1 year wedding anniversary. One of the best decision we made during this trip was staying at the Sea-Breeze Lodge. Freddy made our stay absolutely amazing. Not only does his kindness make the B&B beautiful, but the B&B is actually breathtaking. We stayed in the Master Suite. The room was spacious, beautiful, had a wonderful bed and beautiful, relaxing bathroom. The B&B is perfectly situated close to town. It was a wonderful stay and I highly recommend the Sea-Breeze Lodge to anyone visiting the area.

What a lovely experience! Staying at this Galway B&B was delightful, from the well-appointed room (with what looked like a newly-renovated bath) to the in-room fridge stocked with cheese, crackers, and bottled water. A good night's sleep and a delicious breakfast in the morning (served in a light-filled solarium) fortified us for the next day of our exploration of Ireland's west coast. Thanks, Freddy!

Thanks to our host Freddy, our stay was excellent. The breakfast was over the top. The B and B was well appointed, extremely clean, and updated. Every detail was attended to.....we were made to feel "at home", and whatever we needed, was there. Small things like slippers and robes in the rooms.....nice small touches.....thanks again to Freddy and his awesome staff.

I was there for just one night, a Saturday. The room was really nice, good size, well kitted out. A good view over a bay. There was complementary fruit, tea, coffee and a large bottle of water in the fridge.
A taxi from Spanish Arch was just over €10.
The breakfast area was well presented and well stocked - there was plenty of fresh fruit and yoghurt. I'd a full Irish which was OK - a little overdone.

Hard to find fault with the place. It's a little out of Galway, but I knew this when booking it. You'll most likely have to get a taxi to and from it.

We've stayed at the Sea Breeze Lodge in November and it was one of the best stays I've ever had. Not only is the owner, Freddy, super friendly and helpful, but he'll make sure that everything is taken care of. The rooms are amazing - they're spacious, the bathrooms are new and very big, and there is even a surround soundsystem in the room that you can attach your phone/iPad to. Breakfast is fabulous, from cereal to bread to eggs to full Irish, whatever you want. In short, you can't come to Galway without staying here.

This is by far the nicest and best run Guest House I have ever stayed at. It is advertised as 5 star and this is absolutely what it is. From the beautiful decor, oh so comfortable beds, wonderful breakfast Menu and it's location, this is as good as any 5 star hotel I have stayed in. Add in the personal touches of Freddy the owner and you have the complete package. I have travelled across the world and I would personally recommend a stay at Sea Breeze lodge to anyone. Book it...you won't be disappointed
