“Fantastic stay at the Sea Breeze Lodge”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 May 2014

We had a wonderful stay at the Sea Breeze Lodge during our recent trip to Galway. Freddy and his team were exceptionally accommodating, highlighting things to see while in Galway and arranging day trips for us. Our room was very comfortable with multiple high-end features that we appreciated during our time there. At our last breakfast, we had a great conversation with Freddy and learned more about the Sea Breeze Lodge and Irish hospitality in general. We cannot wait to return, and we would definitely stay at the Sea Breeze Lodge again.

Great hospitality and lovely room. Some very nice touches. We particularly enjoyed the freshly made apple cake and the direct line to a taxi service. View from the room was lovely and the bed was as good as it gets for a good night's sleep. We will be back soon.

beautifully furnished, large, modern, comfortable room, bed and pillows were so comfortable and the views were lovely over the bay. Great attention to detail with robes and slippers, fresh flowers and fruit, the friendly. Helpful and accommodating owners had great attention to detail in the room to make it as comfortable a stay as possible and really go out of their way to ensure your stay with them is enjoyable. Lovey breakfasts and beautiful location. I would recommend to anyone travelling to Galway.

The owner, the staff, the setting, and the service were all first class. Got to hear an original composition from the owner on his beautiful concert grand piano. We were made to feel like guests in a beautiful private home and the rooms were designed for comfort and guest convenience. Lovely view overlooking Galway Bay just capped the experience. Can't recommend enough. Thank you.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the 2nd floor overlooking the water.

Very impressive property where the owner has gone for quality. Lovely clean rooms. Excellent breakfast. Nothing too much trouble for lovely, friendly hosts Freddie and Michelle. Worth more than its 5 stars. Would not hesitate to book again if visiting the area.

Room Tip: Rooms on front with lovely bay views.

We had a wonderful stay here and Freddie and Michele were fabulous hosts. Muffins were amazing. Breakfasts were stupendous and nothing was too much trouble. Interesting discussions every day from Jack Vettriano to contact lenses. I loved this place and if I return to Galway it will be top of my list for a place to rest my head.
Best wishes to you both.

I found this property on Trip Advisor and could not have been more impressed. Every detail imaginable: delightful hosts, excellent breakfast, comfortable bed. Our room was hardwoods with plenty of space for our gear. The bathroom is a little tight in places but with a large tub and rain type shower head and separate commode with a door who cares?! There was a mini fridge stocked with water and cheese along with fresh fruit and water pot for tea or coffee in the room! Slippers and robes completed our pampering. Some of those things aren't really necessary but they are so luxurious to have. We made a day trip to Kylemore Abbey and Connemara from this location. I highly recommend this lovely B&B to anyone.
