Comfortable, clean room, delicious breakfast in a room with grand view of Galway Bay. We were so comfortable there we extended our stay to three nights. We felt like Anna went out of her way to make us feel at home. She made reservations for us to catch the bus to the Aran Island Ferry, gave us tips for restaurants for dinner and pointers about the area. We felt like we were leaving an old friend when it was time to go.

Room Tip: Our room in the front gave us a view of the bay from our bed.

I recently stayed two nights at the Claremount House - Anna and her husband were wonderful. It was immaculate and the beds were the most comfortable in my 10 day stay in Ireland. Anna gave us suggestions on places to see during our stay and we are glad we took her advice. We had a wonderful breakfast and the smell of fresh baking bread was amazing when we returned home from our travels. I would definitely stay there again - very lovely owners and accommodations.

Anna was extremely nice. Her breakfasts were generous and well-prepared She recommended a day tour to the near by Connemara for only 25 euros. She made a phone call and had us booked within 15 minutes of our arrival. It was some of the most beautiful scenery during our 3 weeks in UK and Europe. Anna also suggested a restaurant within walking distance, Tom Sheridans Bar & Restaurant, that we really enjoyed for the great food and atmosphere. Getting into Galway was an easy 10 minute bus ride with the bus stop almost in front of the B&B. I would definitely return to Claremount House.

Room Tip: Our room was on the main floor facing Galway Bay...very quiet.

We only had one night here as we were traveling around the country, but Anna & 1 of her daughter's, Baby Anna, took very good care of us. The location is overlooking the bay & they have a grand view out of the front window. The room was comfortable, & clean. It was a little smaller than some B&B's we stayed in, but other than that was on par with the best in Ireland. We had a great breakfast & then were unfortunately on our way again.

We had a truly lovely stay at Claremount House. The owner, Anna, had her hands full with her own large family and their schedules, but that didn't in any way stop her from putting her guests first. The room was lovely and immaculate and we truly felt welcome.

The rooms are a bit on the smallish side but nice. Breakfast was ok and the owners are friendly. Compared to other B&Bs this place lacked a bit the attention to detail we have experienced at a lot of other places and some more recommendations regarding the city and the surrounding area would have been great.

Quiet location with a pleasant walk into Galway along the waterfront (took about 45 min).

We loved staying here and the owner Anna was very nice to us. Good Breakfast and nice bed.
Anna clued us in about using the bus to go downtown and that was so much easier than driving. We felt at home there because of her family and outgoing personality. The driveway
was a bit hard for new Irish drivers to turn into . Just the traffic. Not Anna's fault!!.

Room Tip: Our room was neat and tidy but a little small. So if you need lots of room . Ask for the larger roo...
