My mom and sister came to visit me for the first time since I moved to Ireland, and we stayed in the Four Season's attic triple room for 2 nights. I will grant you the shower was tiny, but since none of us are particularly huge, it was more novel and funny than annoying. Eddie was a treat to chat with in the morning; my sister said talking to him was the highlight of her trip. Oven-warm scones and cream also didn't hurt. Breakfast was delicious, the beds were comfortable, we had tea/coffee/biscuits and a hairdryer in room, and the service was exceptional. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who appreciates a warm welcome. Would like to give a Very Good+, only leaving off full marks as the small shower might be tough for some, though maybe some of the rooms have a different set-up.

Room Tip: If you're a big person, you might ask about the size of the shower in your ensuite.

Stayed in four seasons during the summer of 2014
Would not recommend it to anyone.
Breakfast was very limited
The smallest shower tray Ive ever seen you could hardly turn inside in it-WHAT A JOKE
Wouldnt be staying here again plenty of lovely other B&B on college road to pick from
Price was a rip off for what you get
Eddie was trying to be smart with his attitude-didnt work for myself and mygirlfriend, as wont be returning and will tell everyone to keep away
Should have slept in the car instead

Eddie and Helen were as warm and friendly of hosts as you could ask for. They were there to help or to offer advice whenever you need it and communicated very quickly via email before our arrival to answer questions on rates, etc. Their breakfast was the best we had in Ireland – they cooked everything fresh and had pretty much anything you could ask for. One morning we had to run out of the house to catch our bus to the Aran Islands and they were kind enough to make us a to-go bag. We really couldn’t have asked for better hosts.

As others have said – it is a great location, about a 5-10 minute walk to Eyre Square and all of the shops and pubs. It is also really close to the bus stop and train station. The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable and the wifi worked great. An overall great experience and an even better value. With how many B&Bs are in Galway, it can be tough to differentiate one from another – but we highly recommend staying with Eddie and Helen at the Four Seasons. We couldn’t have asked for more.

We booked a twin during a very busy race week in Galway. Excellent location ,excellent value, very clean (towels replaced by evening time).College road is an excellent location , five minutes walk to the main square.at half the price.
The breakfast will suffice until evening.
The hosts ensure you are not only well fed, with any combination of "Irish " breakfast you can ask for...no pancakes and syrup,,. As in all great establishments, the maître D, brings you the morning paper, but Eddie will also read it to you, inform you of all relevant world political historical events as far back as WW1.whilst the workers feverishly scatter round him, ensuring extra supplies of tea toast get to the front line. Great stay highly recommend. sack the comedian

This bed and breakfast is close to central Galway, and in a converted house, which meant that the rooms were quite small, but that was more than made up for by the hospitality of Eddie and Helen. Rooms were very clean, comfortable, and breakfast was large and excellent - home made bread - made even better by Edddie's entertaining stories, usually at the expense of Irish people. On the morning after we left, we received an email from Eddie, saying that my daughter had left an ear ring behind. He had driven to Galway trying to find us at the locations that he had given directions to, but wasn't able to track us down, so could he send it to us at home. Try getting that service at a Holiday Inn. Great people, great location and highly recommended.

Room Tip: All rooms are quiet, but some are on a higher floor with narrow staircases

My two young adult daughters and I just stayed here for three nights and had a great time. Eddie and Helen are great hosts; not only did they provide a comfortable room and generous (and delicious!) breakfast, they also helped out when one of my daughters was ill for a few days. They even offered to call up their own doctor should we have needed it (which thankfully we didn't). The B&B is along College Road, suited next to a string of B&Bs. The location is perfect: it's a five-minute walk to Eyre Square, the bus station, and the coach bus station. You don't need a vehicle around here at all ... in our three days we went on a day-long tour to Connemara, saw Trad on the Prom, spent a day walking around the pedestrian zone and Latin Quarter (including going to the Galway Cathedral and the Saturday market), and even took in a movie at the Galway Film Fleadh (festival) that was going on while we were in town. We always felt safe and there was never a lack of something to do. Helen and Eddie were great at offering advice, and the bowl of fruit for snacking on was taken advantage of more than once. And of course, there are Helen's scones and Eddie's eggs: you can't go wrong. Great spot, kind people, and excellent food--what more can you ask for?

Stayed here in June 2014 for three nights. The location is good and the hosts are very good and friendly. Remember to have a conversation on any subject with Eddie, the owner. Breakfast is exceptionally good!

On the downside, the room we stayed was very small ( we were informed at the time of booking about this being "small" ) and the bathroom was a matchbox.

Will I go back to stay here? Answer is YES (but will remember to book in advance and ask for a larger room)

Room Tip: Remember to ask for a larger room when you book and also remember that the rooms are in the first fl...
