This is a fairly expensive hotel to stay in (€560) for 2 nights (B&B), so the idea of paying for parking is absurd! Time for the hotel to act and pick up the tab. Also the breakfast staff need a big wake up call-slow and forgetful 2/2

value for money 6/10

Went for a couple of drinks, on a Tuesday night.
Hotel After re-opening because of take over
Still looks unfinished - just bit more homely feel needed.
Bar staff very unfriendly and gave us our drinks -with no beer mat/napkin or cocktail stick for bits of fruit in cocktails.
Just improvements needed.
Them little touches need to with service.
Went for another drink to bar The barman was gone for his break and no other staff behind bar.
Waited a good few minutes and a woman came beside me to order and said same ..... Is there no staff
I said no.
2girls came into counter sorting the tills ....I think they to do with food area as dressed in black, so I had to call them over, and ask anyone serving.
It wasn't busy for a Tuesday night but I think I'd get better service in a busier bar.
Hope if I visit again will be better.

We stayed here a while ago and I could've sworn I reviewed this hotel, alas I have not.
We LOVED it! The service was so friendly, the price was right, the decor is outstanding throughout (feels like art all around!) and the location cant be beat.
We parked at the garage nearby, as recommended and it was easy and affordable.
Sleep quality is high because though you are in the middle of it all, its tucked away enough that there is no noise in the rooms. Also the bed was mighty comfy!
I definitely recommend.

Me and a friend recently ate here after the galway races and i was really impressed. the decor is quite girly which i loved and had a spacious dining and lobby area. The staff where really friendly and efficent. We just opted for a main course of pizza and piri piri chips which where so yummy i could have ate at least 3 bowls of them. The main was really big and great value they also have a set early bird menu available. The dessert menu wasnt hectic i felt it didnt have alot of choice so we opted for a cocktail instead, the cocktails where really professionaly done and the menu had a great selection of choice so there really was somthing for everyone. the location is ideal as your just around the corner from shop street really was a great choice to end a girly day out.

Following a change of ownership, the refurbished public areas of the hotel are taking shape and should be completed soon. The rooms are lovely, the staff great and the location could not be better with the harbour, shops, pubs and restaurants all on the doorstep almost. Use Hynes Car park 50 metres away and you have all the elements of the perfect spot. Despite being 'caught' in the take over period, we had a lovely breakfast in the Kitchen next to the Museum and all in all enjoyed our stay.

Lovely hotel in the best location in Galway City! It's just opened its doors once again and their is a little refurbishment going on but this didn't impact our stay what so ever! Best hotel in Galway City! Bed was so comfortable! Staff are excellent and couldn't do enough to help, Clean and comfortable hotel, I can't find any fault what so ever!! Breakfast was lovely, however you can eat out and their are plenty of restaurants around the corner. If you want a hotel that's central within walking distance, excellent service, something clean and comfortable and most of all a little Irish charm, this is the place! I will 100% be returning!!

We stayed here for 1 night during the arts festival. Rooms were very clean and well decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is being refurbished but this did not effect our stay. It has the potential to be one of the finest hotels in Galway when finished. I will definitely be staying here again.
