This B&B wa more like a cheap motel than the typical warm, charming B&Bs that we had encountered elsewhere in Ireland. The rooms were clean, but small and spartan. The breakfast was generous in neither variety nor quantity. The one thing that this property has in its favor is location...right at the end of the Promenade.

This B&B has a good location with an easy walk to the shore and to city center. After a long day of driving in Ireland, walking to a restaurant felt so good. There was plenty of easily accessible parking. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate but perfunctory: There was a full Irish breakfast but the bacon was strangely tasteless and the coffee was obviously instant.

We stayed here for a couple of nights during the Galway International Arts Festival and found it to be very clean and well maintained. The owner was very helpful and gave us a few quick directions when we arrived to help us get our bearings. Its in a lovely location right next to Salthill and a stone's throw from the water. Its also only a 10 or 15 minute walk into Eyre Square so we didn't need the car at all. There was a choice of breakfasts: bacon, sausage and egg (either fried or scrambled) or fruit salad and yoghurt, as well as a variety of cereals.

Overall we were fairly pleased with our stay and were happy with the price we paid.

We stayed a few nights in this very tidy and clean B&B. The hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The onsite parking was very convenient, and because the house is located between Galway city and the beach/promenade of Salthill ,with its cafe's, restaurants, bars etc, we left the car parked at the house and walked into Galway or in the other direction to the beach/promenade etc. It's a nice quite location to stay and handy to everything. We had been driving all day and there was still daylight.. and we said.. we may want to get a place to stay soon, when we finally checked the time.. it was like 10:30 at night. So when we got to the B & B, the wife answered the door..Not knowing what to expect as it was our first B & B, I thought she was a little apprehensive at first.. it looked like I woke her up.. Then we met the husband a bit later. Not sure if this is how it works or not, but he was a chatty man, very friendly. Telling us places to go and see. The room was kinda small, not a lot of hot water. But the room was clean and we had our our private bath/shower. The breakfast, I guess was a typical Irish Breakfast. The wife cooked, the husband assisted. There was cold cereal, eggs, bacon and some kind of Blood Sausage - Juices and coffee. Now I have realized and I think if your in Ireland and your staying at a B & B, you should too, that "your just passing through". You experience the lifestyle of your hosts, and your in their home. I guess you don't go to Ireland to hang out with the owners of B & B's..lol.. your there to tour the scenery of the land. So, you can tell that the hosts are used to that as well. Overall, If you are needing a lot of frills and things to do at your place of rest, don't stay at a B & B in Ireland. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting new hosts, and people traveling through to go on to their next destination. I enjoyed experiencing the culture. OH.. every B & B we stayed at in Ireland… ALL had the exact same breakfast, it seems as if there is a B & B every 50ft.. and they all charged us the exact same amount.

Room Tip: Its not about a good room, its a B & B and its their home. Just embrace whatever you get as long...

This location was a little bit more professional than most B&B's - they had many rooms as opposed to the usual 2-3 in a home. However, that is not a complaint. The location was excellent, right on the bay behind a casino and walking distance into town (a little bit of a walk - but not bad). The breakfast offered was excellent and the dining room very cute - more than just a home's dining room but set up to accommodate 3-4 tables. There was a lobby with couches as well. Parking was on location, and the innkeeper was very helpful throughout. Felt very professional. Easy to find. Coffee shop right up boardwalk as well, beautiful spot to go for a jog in the morning too. Loved our stay.

I stayed here the last night of our trip. The owner was very accommodating and the B&B was clean. We were able to walk into the city area without trouble. The breakfast was great. The hostess was so sweet and nice that we felt very welcome.
