I recently stayed at the marless with my mam. We were warmly greeted into Tom and Mary's beautiful home, the food was exquisite and we will definitely be making a return trip. The room was spacious and catered for our every needs. I would recommend anyone who wants to stay in salthill to stay in the marless bed and breakfast. Michelle P.

Unfortunately, my family and I did not get to meet Mary as she was out of town. But Owen and Tom did a fabulous job of making us feel comfortable and welcome. Tea and coffee were served on our arrival. Prompt, delicious breakfast each morning. Clean, bright rooms. It was just a delight to be there guest. And Mary, if you are reading this, Tom and Owen were just perfect- no worries there. We missed seeing you, and we loved the scrambled eggs :)

We chose this B&B after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor and other websites. We were not disappointed. We stayed here for 2 nights. On our arrival we were warmly greeted by Mary. She showed us to our room and served us tea and biscuits. After a long flight and travel, we enjoyed her hospitality very much. She gave us a map and made several suggestions regarding places to go, eat etc. All excellent suggestions.
The room and ensuite bathroom was a decent size even though Mary says it's the smallest of her rooms. It was fine for me and my husband. We had a wonderful view to her cute garden and the electric blanket was heavenly and very welcome.
We found Mary and Tom to be warm, hospitable and genuinely wonderful hosts. While we were there Mary had to go see her newborn granddaughter but she made sure we were totally taken care of before she left. Her husband and son in law Owen totally took care of us and made us wonderful breakfast. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our first 2 nights in Ireland. It was the start of a wonderful vacation thanks to Mary and her family.

We stayed at 7 different locations during our recent trip to Ireland. Marless House was our first B&B. Anywhere we stayed after Marless House, my daughter would turn to me and say, "I miss Mary". We were only there for 2 nights, but wished we had booked more. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Breakfast was a delight, our room was beautiful, and we were made to feel welcome by Mary and Tom -- the most enjoyable people who really know how to do a B&B. Do yourself a favor and stay at Marless House. You won't be disappointed.

We arrived at Marless House jet lagged and damp from the rain, straight from bus and taxi connections from Shannon Airport to Galway. From the first moment, Mary made us feel welcome. Our plan was to spend four nights at Marless House settling in and taking day trips out from Galway, before picking up a car for the latter part of our trip. That worked out great. From Mary's first welcome to our last goodbye, she was most hospitable. As many reviewers have noted, she really cares about whether or not her guests have a good time. We went on great day tours with Burren Wild and Hidden Connemara, both involving getting out into the countryside and walking, and Mary insisted on confirming our reservations for us and arranging for us to be picked up in Salthill rather than having to take the bus into Galway. Highly recommended.

This June we had the pleasure of staying in Marless House Hill in Galway. The home was beautiful, clean and the breakfast was outstanding. This B&B set the bar very high for the rest of our stay in Ireland. Additionally, Mary gave us great advise on where to go and what to see. I would highly recommend this B&B.

Our stay at the Marless House was very enjoyable. My family and I stayed for two nights and enjoyed our time there. Our hostess was very welcoming and was very helpful in showing what was available in the area to do. Our rooms were very nice and our beds were very comfortable. All of our breakfasts were delicious. Our hostess was very sweet and eager for us to enjoy our stay, which we did. If we return to Ireland in the near future, we will definitely stay at the Marless House again.

Room Tip: All the rooms were excellent.
