The rooms are great, especially considering the age of the hotel - the have refurnished many rooms to a very high standard.
The staff are all excellent - motivated, polite and attentive.
The food was only ok - we were offered 'herb infused focaccia bread' before dinner, but it tasted like a plain old bread roll to me. The dining room needs cleaning - the chairs are all suede and looking a bit grubby to me. The breakfast offering is standard and good, but nothing interesting on the menu like eggs Benedict.
This is overall a fine hotel and located perfectly.
