We ate a lovely evening meal here. We decided to go a la carte as we fancied things on that menu and do not normally eat three courses. I had the Black and White pudding starter which I very much enjoyed followed by Lemon Sole. The fish was fine and the portion of fish and accompanying veg and potato plentiful. However, in hindsight I should have chosen differently as Lemon Sole is not really a favourite of mine. It was still good though. My wife had the Bluebell Fall’s Goat’s Cheese which was fabulous followed by the biggest single portion of Beef Wellington I have ever seen with a great piece of beef inside. AND there was plenty veg and potato too!!
The setting and decor is lovely and the service was very attentive. Well worth a visit.
