“Not to be missed....well worth a day's drive”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 November 2013

We drove our own car around the Ring of Kerry and although roads are a bit narrow, steep and whatever it was the best way to see what we wanted to see and also get into areas a bit more off the beaten path. What a beautiful area....

“ring of kerry IMPORTANT”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 November 2013

well first and most important thing ,rent a car.Because with car you can see 50 percent more,You see, we were driiving trough the ring and valentia island and you can see that buss can not drive because he is too big on many roads ,thet close but out of ring, and where is most beuatiful nature,Also you can see bus stops and there are so many places on that tour where bus cant stop and that are beautiful. And if you are going there visit Valentia island he' nicer than ring of kerry classic tour and he is on your way you just need to go little out of ring too see him,and dont woory ,he is connected with bridge,On that island you have fogher clifs, beuatiful hills ,rocks, amazing greenes, panorama view, and it s so much nicer and 5 times better then whole ring,Doon t miss it.And go in sunrise to the ring,

“Scenic, relaxing & a must see!”

Beautiful scenery, complimentary rainbows! Lots of great stops for coffee or meals as well as souvenir shoppes. It was off-season, so we had each turn-out area practically to ourselves. Beautiful countryside!

“Did a Partial Ring of Kerry - But Got the Wonderful Views!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 November 2013

We joined the Ring of Kerry at Kenmare and drove north to Killarney. We were having a wonderful traveling day from Cork with temps about 57 and a very clear, sunny day on October 14, 2013.

We followed a tour bus through the Killarney National Park, which we found to be very advantageous, as the oncoming cars would give the bus a wide berth! Stopped at the Ladies View for a few minutes and then proceeded to our hotel in Killarney. The name stems from the admiration of the view given by Queen Victoria's ladies-in-waiting during their 1861 visit. We unfortunately did not have time to stop at the Torc Waterfall, as it was getting dusky.
