“Do NOT Miss this!”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

Do yourself a favor and drive around the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry. Once you've reached the town of Dingle, make a right and drive on R559. Take the turn to the small road to take you to Brandon Creek too (stick to the coast). The views on the whole drive are spectacular. There are many pull outs to stop and take in the view and some pictures. I can't remember what town/area we were in but there is a trail that takes you up to some rocks that you can climb up to. The view of the coast is incredible. Right around Slea Head the road gets very curvy and narrow - hold onto your hats and pull the sideview mirror in! One of my 2 favorite spots in Ireland (the other is Rock of Cashel).

“Beautiful sights and pleasant hiking on the Dingle”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

We wanted to hike part of the Dingle Way while we were there in May. We had four days on the peninsula and did three day-hikes, plus one day of driving to see sights. Our traveling companions drove us to our starting point each day, and met us at our ending point. We did several of the southern and western sections between Annascaul and the western end beyond Dingle town. If you like Irish folk music, be sure to go to the concert at St. James church in Dingle--it's wonderful.

“stunning”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

such brilliant scenery , you need to set off early and make a day of this visit and just hope its a clear day so you can see the magnificent views, there are plenty of places to pull in along the roadside and take in the views a definite sight to see when in county Kerry , we went in a friends car but there are plenty of coaches doing the tour ,

“bensokee mountain”

Go stretch your legs and view the peninsula from its rooftop.
While there traverse over to nearby Stradbally Mountain.
Don't forget your flask and sandwiches
