A good B&B starts with the hosts, and you can get none better than Toni and Danny. Toni was more than a host, she feels like my new BFF. She was funny, warm and gracious, so helpful and full of information. You could tell that your having a good experience was really important to her. The room was beautiful, way above the quality of typical B&B's. Everything was new and clean. It was the best combination of a beautiful hotel room with the warm, homey atmosphere of a B&B. Breakfast was ample and tasty. But perhaps the best part of the experience is getting invited back into their kitchen to chat with Toni and Danny while Danny draws up one of his original "maps" to get you where you need to go. We loved being with these two so much, we hated to leave. In fact, we actually talked about how we missed them the next night! I promise, if you stay at Larkinley, it will be your favorite stay of your trip. It certainly was ours!

My husband and I travel often and stay in B&B's often. We agree that this is the best one we've ever stayed in, for a number of reasons (note: we stayed 6 nights). First and foremost, the owners/operators are wonderful. They're friendly, knowledgeable, eager to please, keep the B&B up to date and clean, provide wonderful service, and cook great breakfasts. We went to Ireland with a general idea of what we wanted to see in the Killarney area, but at their invitation, we sat down with them every morning and solicited their suggestions. Both are very knowledgeable about the area and pointed out the many highlights we shouldn't miss. Danny draws great maps, and was eager to help us with directions, routes, etc. The breakfasts (which featured a menu with several choices) were wonderfully prepared, and there was nothing we asked for which wasn't promptly and cheerfully provided. Just one example (among many): we needed to have some laundry done, and while we knew where the nearest business was which could do it, rather than have us drop us off their daughter (also a wonderful person) offered to drop it off for us since she was going anyway. They also gladly arranged the two guided tours we took while there--arranging for us to be picked up and dropped off at the B&B. The large rooms were immaculate, and thoroughly cleaned every day. The location is great also. About a ten minute walk to the town's center, and Toni and Danny were more than happy to recommend places to eat, shop, etc. We really felt like we had made great friends by the time we (sadly) had to leave. If we're ever in the neighborhood again, we will be sure to stay here. It was a great experience which added great pleasure to the overall experience of the trip. Don't miss this place if you're staying in Killarney!

Room Tip: It is on a busy street, but one of the guests who stayed in a front room reported little, if any noise. We stayed in one of the back rooms, and never heard any street noise--or noise from other rooms, either.

Drove from Dublin after all night travel from US. We arrived well before check in time. Toni and Danny could not have been more welcoming. Our room was ready and waiting for us. Lovely room and fantastic breakfast. Easy short walk to town center.

Lovely, lovely, lovely. This BnB exceeded my expectations. Toni & Danny (the owners) could not be anymore accommodating, friendly, and kind. By the end of our 2 day stay, they felt like long lost family. At one point during the rest of our trip, I told my husband "I miss them!"

Outside of the lovely hospitality, the BnB is incredibly clean & neat. The bathroom was nice and modern. The breakfast was delicious. When I go back to Ireland, I cannot imagine staying anywhere but here. It is also a great location.. less than 5 minute walk to the town and parking was pretty easy.

Thank you so much Danny & Toni for your kindness and hospitality!!

This was the nicest B&B my husband and I have ever stayed at - sorry it has taken my so long to review Toni. This place is beautiful, very clean and comfortable. Toni was a wonderful hostess, extreemly friendly, available for any questions, even drove us to the bus station when we were leaving. Breakfast was also really nice. We did a Ring of Kerry tour which was very pretty. Overall Killarney was more touristy than we expected. Would have liked to explore the National Park if we'd had time.
