“Lots to do”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

Unfortunately we were limited in time so we only walked around the house and took a carriage ride to the Muckross Friary. No regrets at all. The Friary ruin is very interesting to walk through as well as the history that goes with it. Highly recommend adding this to your tour while there. Stunning grounds around the house.

“Amazing”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

This house was amazing and the gardens beautiful and well kept. We traversed on this location on our hike on the Kerry way and enjoyed a few moments on the grounds and enjoying some wine and sandwiches at their cafe. Be sure to stop by (horse and carriage rides available to grounds)

“A Nice Place to Tour”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

The tour was incredibly detailed and provide a good deal of history about the house as well as the surrounding countryside. The art and décor were exceptionally well preserved and they take very good care of it. It was a nice break from walking in the rainy weather to come inside for the house tour. If we had more time, I would have really enjoyed a carriage ride around some of the gardens and more distant attractions.

“Interesting and fun experience”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

The house tour is worth the time, and the grounds are an ideal place to take a picnic. Went to the traditional working farm which was quite nice as well.
