On a Globus Tour and spent 1 night (did not have a choice). The electricity went out on the wall that housed the TV and hairdryer. Called Frontdesk to fix problem. Was told it would be fixed that night. Next morning when I went to dry my hair, hairdryer wouldn't work. Well come to find out that the electricity issue the night before was not fixed. The frontdesk guy was nice about it, but, this is no way to run a hotel.

Also, the room was worn-out looking (could be updated with newer furniture). It was not up to the Globus Tour hotel standards. Very disappointed and Globus Tour will get my feedback on this hotel as well.

We stayed two nights as part of a Globus Tour, so we had no other choice. The hotel is a good half mile walk from the city center. The room we were given was over the kitchen, so kitchen odors were noticeable. We had our windows open (no air conditioning) and the garbage dumpsters were directly below them. The bathroom was in great need of updating. We were able to change rooms the second night - the room being better, but up to neither Globus nor Holiday Inn standards. Definitely not a first class hotel.

booked a week end break through the supervalu promotion
found poor standards of accomodation and food at this hotel
wall paper torn in bedroom also dirty radiator and bathroom quite
grubby. Dining room needs a whole lot of renovating.. with brick
on wall near kitchen doors having coming off and not replaced
Food was very poor.. with steak that you could see through and having to pay a supplement of €7 for same... they even managed
to burn the kids sausage/nugget and chips.
no shoe covers for entering pool area... one guy was walking around with quite muddy runners.. hygine standards do not apply
in this hotel. we enjoyed our night in the bar with a one man band which was very good. Check inn staff were very friendly.
the owners need to seriously inject some money into this very
child friendly hotel. we stayed here eight years ago and its obvious its just not being maintained to the proper standards
would not stay here again.

Myself, my husband, son and baby stayed at the holiday inn for 3 nights during the school mid term break. Must say it was fab. Everything was brilliant. Rooms were very comfy, great ameneties and very centrally located.

There were activities for children during the stay and the food was top class.. The activities were geared mostly for 6-8 year olds but never the less our 9 year old son enjoyed them. The pool was fine the jacuzzi and steam room was good.

Couldnt really complain, lots of nice extras like face cloths dove shower cream etc

Really enjoyed our stay..

We were booked into this hotel through a globus tour and even the tour guide said that she wasn't happy with this hotel but she had no authority to change it. First, I asked to be changed from the hall by the pool because of the chlorine fumes and was put in a suite on the second floor. But at two am I was awakened by a young man who was in the lot outside my window removing dirty linen. He raised and lowered the noisy lift on the truck at least ten times. I could actually see his face and he looked as if he was oblivious to the fact that it was 2 am. I called the next morning and asked if I could expect to hear that noise again the next night and they said no but they didn't make a great effort to apologize for my lack of sleep.

The hotel also had no air conditioning. I think that is just unheard of in this time and age.

The room was clean enough but had a lot of dings on the walls.
Breakfast was adequate. The best time we had there was with our tour mates at the bar.

Globus needs to upgrade its accommodations in Killarney. They will be getting a letter from me.
