We had our wedding here on the 28th of april, and from helping us planning our big day, to looking after us down to the finest details, the staff off the Avenue hotel were professional, friendly and curtious in every sense of the words. They included in our package, a red carpet reception with champagne on arrival for both of us, the wedding guests were met with a brandy, baileys, whiskey, tea and coffee, and canopes on arrival. Denis advised us to have our speeches before the meal which was a fantastic idea because everyone were then able to enjoy the meal. We choose the vegetable soup, chicken and mushroom vol et vent and prawn cocktail. It sounds plain but it was far from it, extremely tasty! For mains we had the fillet of beef of which there was 2 on every plate cooked to perfection aswell as grilled seabass which just melted on the plate, all served up with locally grown fresh potatos and veg, delicious! The dessert was a melody of three, of which there was 8 to choose from on our tasting night, just stunning. The attention to detail was second to none, the staff were so attentive, the wedding guests or us couldnt say enough for them.
Our room when we got there late as it was had rose pettals lead from the door to the bed and on the bed made out in the shape of a love heart, also a chilled bottle of champagne, and fresh strawberries covered in chocolate, mmmmm! The following day we had an afters party in the hotel bar where we were served up hot finger food which was lovely and great end to a fantastic weekend, we can not reccomend the avenue highly enough, throughly magnificant!

Spent a weekend here in April and I really can't fault it. The central location was great for exploring the town but it also provides a relaxed, quiet environment to unwind in the evenings. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Great stay all in all but I'd come back just for the service, really impressed

Having just spent two nights in the Killarney Avenue Hotel on a golf outing with some Danish friends I would highly recommend this hotel for service, cleanliness, efficient check in & out and location.
The reception staff were particular good and extremely helpful with local restaurant recommendations and bookings. The bar was busy whenever I attended and the only downside I could add was the service was a little slow. Overall very happy to recommend this hotel.

I stayed at the Killarney Avenue Hotel after a wedding in cork and it was a great place to relax. Denis the young manager was always there to help and really made you feel welcome. The bar had a great mix of locals and hotel guests alike which made for a great evening. The location is also perfect you can head to anywhere in Killarney from there because it's right in the centre of town. You can park your car there and walk everywhere. Great spot will be back
