First time going to the restaurant in the Ross Hotel. I love my food and the food at the restaurant loved me. Starting with being shown to our table, being a group of 9, we were made welcome and comfortable from the start. Staff knew it was a special occasion and we received a complimentary bottle of champagne, and this was followed by a fast, courteous service and fine food with a very good selection and cooked to perfection. It was a busy night but there were no delays between courses, plus we were not rushed out of the restaurant.
Just really enjoyed the meal and the ambience. As good food as I have ever eaten. Recommend the Monk fish in Bacon starter! Will be back soon!!

We had a lovely time in the ross, our room was fantastic! we splashed out on a suite and were'nt dissapointed. Ate in the restaurnat which was lovely and the service was great. Then we went upstairs to the bar for a cocktail, which was hopping. All in all, I would highly recomend the ross, top notch service and attention to detail.

A group of us stayed in the Ross Hotel for a hen weekend. We ate in the Lane Bar on Friday night, the food was good, reasonably priced and plenty of it. There was also a nice cocktail menu. We ate in the restaurant on Saturday night, and while the food didn't blow me away, it was fresh and there was lots of fresh potatoes and veg served with the main courses so noone left hungry. Service was friendly and efficient at all times. Breakfasts were very satisfactory. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, the bathrooms were very nice, with lovely showers. The only complaint I would have is one that is not unique to this hotel - the rooms were overheated. There is air conditioning, but as it doesn't go lower than 19 degrees, it didn't really cool the room. As we stayed 2 nights and had dinner, we got an all-in price, which was very reasonable.

Room Tip: Ask for one of the larger twin rooms

Just back from another night at the Ross. This is a fabulous hotel right in the centre of Killarney and I would recommend to ANYONE, young, middle aged or older, to try this hotel. Eat lunch at The Lane Cafe, a cocktail in the evening, dinner in their Cellar ONe restaurant followed by a night cap in the Pink Lounge! You don't even have to step outside the door! Rooms are lovely, beds sooooo comfy, followed by a fab breakfast. So please please do not pass the door of this hotel. We will be back again for sure. Thanks to the Ross for another great time.

I was here in February as part of a large work conference and had an excellent experience. The staff were just so lovely, local and very friendly. The location is perfect and central. The room was a twin room and was just gorgeous. I loved coming back to the hotel at the end of a busy and "people-filled" day. The blinds separating the bathroom from the bedroom (which can obviously be closed) are a lovely touch to bring more daylight into the bathroom. It was also great to be able to open the window to bring in some fresh air. Although I didn't eat dinner there I heard reports that the food was really lovely. I was in the bar for a couple of drinks and a very pleasant experience it was ! The breakfast was gorgeous too, buffet for cereals, fruit and pastries and then optional hot breakfast which was such a lovely relaxed and delicious way to start the day. Would love to return in my personal time and enjoy this hotel again Would highly recommend.
ps Although I didn't personally use it I believe the swimming pool in their sister hotel the Killarney Park is really really nice !

I really enjoyed my 3 night stay here. Fantastic hotel in an ideal location. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and the rooms were lovely. The hotel has a great bar and the restaurant also served great food, again the staff in both the bar and restaurant were brilliant. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely return again.

Room Tip: Parking is across the street in a sister hotel of The Ross. No big deal but just be aware

I was in The Ross as part of a work event, having stayed in The Killarney Park the year before this is the smaller sister hotel. The eclectic lighting and modern design make real the word boutique. Overall very welcoming & warm, would come here again. However avoid the rooms to the back, these face out onto a busy alley which can be very noisy at the weekend as the bars overflow & the bottle bins are emptied. This can be a real drawback. The food is good & also the cocktails, however service can be a little slow when it gets busy. Overall very good, especially as use of the 20 mtr pool & spa facilities of the superior 5 star Killarney Park are at your disposal free of charge.
