Beautiful place. For first time I went there with my boyfriend for cycling (October 2013). Weather was gorgeous, we were lucky to get some sun. Views were stunning - lake, mountains, park, waterfall. Second time I went there with my parents for walk (March 2014). We all loved it, spend more than 3 hours walking around and enjoying beautiful nature. It is worth to go there with bikes or just for a walk. Plus Muckross House is another thing worth visiting at the Killarney National Park.

Must visit. It is so amazingly beautiful. Well maintained parts of the park, as well as naturally wild parts to enjoy breathtaking natural beauty with the most amazing views of the big lake and Ross castle.

The Killarney National Park is one of the oldest National Parks in the World. It includes the Lakes of Killarney of which the largest is Lough Leane or Loch Lein in Gaelic. Also included is Muckross Lake which I walked round today & found it a most enjoyable walk of about 9 miles that is if you do not get lost.
