We stayed here nights 10-12 of 14 in Ireland. It was our jumping off point for Blarney Castle and Dingle. The location was great, easy to find and just off the main road, maybe 10 minutes walk from the train station. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was in a separate building, which I thought could create security issues, but I never saw the outside door being left open. The room was clean and neat. The common areas were average. There is a grocery right across the street with everything you need. Unfortunately, there was construction, to add to the hostel, that started at 8am everyday right outside our window! The shower was great with plenty of pressure and temperature. You can walk 15 minutes to Killarney National Park, which is a bonus! The kitchen was neat and had enough supplies even when many groups were cooking at the same time. Laundry service is available, but at a higher cost because it is full service only, which we would rather pay less and do it ourself, especially because it's hard to explain how you do your laundry.
