“Old world charm”

An older style hotel with plenty of charm and modern amenities, you feel like you are in a family run, not large establishment. We picked it on street appeal in the pouring rain, the ambiance hits you the minute you walk in the door and are greeted by the friendly receptionist. the location was excellent.

We booked the Dromhall on the recommendation of our friend who lives in Killarney. We were attending her 50th birthday party which was held in the Dromhall. Upon arrival (we were later than expected) we were given the warmest of welcomes. Our room was clean and very acceptable, lovely bathroom. Breakfast was amazing, nothing too much trouble for the staff. We ate in Kaynes and all came out full to the brim and very happy. We travelled from England and the trip to Dromhall was well worth the visit. A home away from home, with that extra special touch.
Thanks to all.
Jan & Ray Young xx

We are very pleased we chose to stay at Dromhall Hotel when we visted killarney. When we arrived we were well received at reception. We found the room very clean & comfortable, and at both restaurants the food & serivice were excellent,We had a problem with are car rental company they were giving us the round & ruining our holiday. The manager heard me on the phone to them in the lobby and saw how it was really upsetting us ,he very kindly asked if he could help, We were very happy he did as he was able to get through to the manager of the rental company and solved the situation for us.

This is a nice hotel with clean comfortable and cosy rooms, try to get a room facing the front of the hotel or you'll be looking at a huge concrete retaining wall out the back. The foyer is pristine ans the staff are friendly. Do get on their mailing list as we got our room for 50 euro a night via an email offer which was definately bargain of the month.

I thought this hotel was quite nice. My wife and I stayed here while on an escorted tour of Ireland. While it is not in the center of the town, the hotel itself is very nice on the inside. The rooms are more than adequate, clean and very quaint. And the hotel's restaurant/bar area is very good too. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is pretty good too. It is a nice place to go to get a Guinness or Murphy's after a day of taking in Killarney's sites.
